Amazing tour. If you’re on Kaua’i, this absolutely has to be on your “must do” list. We went out on a sunset cruise on the “Amelia K” with Capt. Makana, Kana, and Elijah (sorry if I misspelled any of your names!) on 1/26/26 and it was absolutely breathtaking. We initially had hoped to do one of their tours on the Seiko, since it leaves from a harbor closer to the Nā Pali Coast. That tour did not have enough people on it so we ended up on the Amelia K and are so glad we did! They did a great job keeping us entertained, answering our questions, and the seats were insanely comfortable. They even got us all a once-in-a-lifetime viewing experience of a mother and baby whale directly next to the Nā Pali coast. Unbelievable. Photos don’t do it justice. And because the waters were smooth enough, they were able to sail us all the way to the northern part of the coast, so we ended up not missing out on any viewing compared to the Seiko. Highly recommend Makana Charters and their great team!!!

Wow! Holy Moly! What an awesome experience, everything was lovely. Super cool and great crew, the ride was beyond gorgeous! Incredible! Seeing the NaPali in person is a must. Did a lot of research and read a ton of reviews when deciding on a tour company, most get good reviews so it was hard to decide. Ultimately, what sets Makana Charters apart is it is ran by natives. Captain Mike and crew- Elijah & Kana, were attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. We were also able to see spinner dolphins and humpback whales (Jan). Highlight of our trip, even for our 8 & 10 year old!

Booked sort of last minute on our honeymoon. 8-10ft waves in the winter and we could not have felt SAFER!!! Makana and Uncle Tony gave us the most special and memorable tour!!!! Their knowledge of the land, the ocean and history was incredible. Backing into caves, allowing us to go under the fertility waterfall, whale watching and dolphins!!!!! Lunch was even great too. Can’t say enough wonderful things about these two- they made our honeymoon unforgettable!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to come back in the summer to snorkel too

The Amelia K is a great boat, the crew is really kind and helpful. The trip to the Napali coast is absolutely stunning!🤩 stop looking - book this cruise! It was worth every penny!

Perfection!!!! This was an amazing trip. The crew was amazing, getting us close to whales, the mountains and into the caves. We didn't know what to expect and needless to say we had the best time. We were a family of eight and all eight had the best time

It was an amazing experience! Starting with Chelsea who checked us in. She was very friendly and helpful. Sean, Ethan, and Charlie were outstanding. They were funny, very knowledgeable, and always looking for exciting things to point out to the guests. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour of the Na Pali coast! Hosts were awesome and made it so fun. Snorkeling, cave exploring, whale and dolphin viewing were highlights of the trip. I would definitely recommend Makana tours!

Makana and Eli were amazing hosts. They were knowledgeable, attentive and super fun. Going in and out of the caves plus seeing dolphins and whales was the cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend to my family and friends wanting to see the Pali.
