Punctual, heavy focus on safety, clean boat, and respectful of the extensive wildlife encounters. The captain, Mr Makana and his staff were friendly, fun and heavily engaged with the customers ensuring all were enjoying their day. Highly recommended.

Captain Makana and Charlie were amazing! Super personable, fun and excellent at what they do. Despite a large swell and some spotty weather, they backed up into multiple sea caves without even sweating it. Definitely recommend!

This tour was great. The captain Mike was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor and his team were very friendly and kind. We saw dolphins and whales in this excursion. It was an experience I'll never forget.

We had a wonderful time on our recent tour with captain mike, Lionel, and Charlie! The entire crew was very knowledgeable, generous, and helpful. It was clear they wanted to provide the best experience possible and even switched the order to ensure we could capitalize on our snorkel opportunity. I especially enjoyed learning about the importance of and history of the Napali coast. We’ve done other napali coast tours and this was by far our favorite for the quality of experience, variety, and crew :) we saw tons of wildlife - whales, dolphins, turtles, and more. thanks so much!

You can't go wrong with Makana Charters! We had an excellent experience! Captain Shawn and 1st mate Elijah made it such an enjoyable trip telling stories and making each person on board feel important. The Napali Coast is beautiful. We were even able to back into a cave somewhat. Our daughter and her friend even got under a waterfall. Some snorkeled and some jumped off the roof of the boat. We we lucky enough to see dolphins and quite a few whales. Thank you Makana Charters!

My wife and I had an AMAZING time during our Napali coast tour. Both Makana and Charlie did a great job showing us the beauty this island has to offer and shared a lot of the history about each of the sites that were seen. It was definitely a fun experience all around from cruising through the waves, checking out the sea caves, getting close to the whales, to even snorkeling with the fishes and turtles along the coast. 10/10 would recommend Makana and will for sure be back one day for a round 2 :)

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our boat tour with Makana Charters. I was worried about sea sickness and used the medications recommended on the tour website. None of us were sick except my 10 year old daughter. The guides really doted on her to help her feel better. I appreciated that. We saw whales, dolphins, sea turtles and seals, which was SO fun. We explored some caves and waterfalls as well as the beautiful Napali Coast. My husband and I did a Napali catamaran tour in the past. I’m so glad we booked this tour with our kids with Makana Charters. I thought it was much better than the other tour. It was so nice to have benches to sit on with our kids. Plus the guides were awesome. I 100% recommend seeing the Napali Coast with Makana Charters.
