Wonderful Nāpali coast tour on Amelia 8-23-26. The captain and crew were all knowledgeable about the history and sites that we saw. We were not able to snorkel due to the weather however the Captain found us a spot to jump in and swim a little. We saw so many dolphins to make this tour a must do while in Kauai.

We were on the Amelia K for a Napali Coast tour in the afternoon - the boat is great and the staff even better. Shout out to Iliana and Jasmine who kept everyone well fed, safe and told us all about the history, traditions and gave us tips for making the best of our stay in Kauai. The boat is very stable and comfortable even after some stormy weather. Highly recommend Makana Charters!

The staff was great, the tour was amazing!! We’ve been on a lot of sunset cruises around the world and this one was a top 10, with the exception of the food. I understand not having alcohol but for what we paid the food was really bad!

An inspiring day of spectacular scenery and natural beauty made possible by the seafaring expertise of Captain A’alona and his mate, Kaiao. Add to that their knowledge of history, culture, folklore, and the sea and surroundings. What kind care they gave us! And we got to go inside sea caves and saw loads of fish while snorkeling. It was an incredibly fine day!

You’ve seen the photos. You know what you’re going to see. What you don’t see is the amazing folks who work to allow you to take the photos, snorkel, and check the Na Pali Coast off your bucket list. My recent tour with Makana Charters on the Amelia K was a top 5 life experience (and I’ve done some pretty cool stuff). From arrival to returning to the dock it was flawless execution. The weather cooperated so we got the full experience, without any seasickness. The crew was simply outstanding. I cannot recommend this business enough. You will not regret a Makana Charters boat tour!

Amazing tour with Captain Mike, Uncle Lionel, Charlie & Lyla on the Amelia K. Very knowledgeable crew and was the best experience for my son and grand-daughter for their first time down the Na Pali Coast. Would highly recommend Makana Charters to others! Mahalo Cuzin Mike for the best day

Awesome experience! The crew made it truly amazing and were so kind, especially Lionel! They were always checking on everyone to see if anyone needed anything from water to soda or photos or even to help them get better views of the beautiful Napali Coast! Every single minute of it was amazing! The entire coast was beautiful and so green and the crew even stopped the boat so we can view a large pod of dolphins! Truly a 10/10 experience!

Crew was top tier & best in class experience!! I unexpectedly got sea sick - which never has happened to me before & I was quite surprised as I grew up on a lake with many boat rides. Lionel was seriously a life saver & provided extra care & checked on me every 15-20 mins. He knew all the tips & tricks to keep me from needing a hurl bag. He even offered to take me back earlier, as an option. And the tour was seriously the highlight of our trip! I will definitely be recommending this charter to anyone planning a trip to Kauai. Best in class & well worth the price!

Captain Rhianna and Jay were awesome and made sure everyone was taken care of. Everyone had a great time while making sure we were all safe. I went to the wrong location that I booked and Makana accommodated me. I was able to take the tour from that location. Makana recommended a taxi service to use from the cruise ship, Dave’s Taxi Service. Dave was also awesome. We had extra time on the way to the tour so Dave gave me a mini tour of the island which included a stop at the canyon. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.
