Shawn and Kaia made our trip the most incredible. They made a great team that worked hard to ensure our trip was informative, enjoyable and safe. I’m so glad we chose to go with Makana Charter. The trip wasn’t rushed and we were able to relax and take in the beauty.

Makana Charters was outstanding!!! We were so happy that we did the tour. My mom has foot pain , can’t walk well right now, and is unable to hike, so we were so happy that she could see the epic views from the boat!!! Views were epic, sea caves waterfalls, dolphins , snorkeling, lunch… 10/10 I will do this again.

Amazing experience with Makana Charters! Shawn and Ky took such great care of us and made the entire trip unforgettable. We snorkeled, swam, sang, watched dolphins, sightseeing along the Nā Pali Coast, and learned so much history along the way. They were hilarious, so knowledgeable, and made us laugh the whole time. I especially appreciated how safety-conscious and considerate Shawn was throughout the tour. Kyle brought us so much laughter with the goat and his funny jokes. Both men did such a great job and I would trust them with my life every time! I had such a fun experience. I would do it again every day if I could! Highly recommend!

An amazing day on the most perfect water along the Napali Coast with Makana Charters. Our Captain and the crew were fantastic, taking us along the coastline, in and out of caves, and near several waterfalls. The views and wildlife were incredible throughout the day, we were lucky enough to see a whale and her calf in May. Would highly recommend this trip, the perfect way to see the beautiful coast!

My daughter and I went out on the 32 passenger boat with Makana (owners son),Elisha, and another guy. So funny, nice and accommodating to explore the Na Pali coastline. One of the 4 engines had trouble so we had to turn around to head back to the dock for safety reasons not knowing if we would be refunded or get another boat. We still got our lunch they provided. My daughter and I hung out at a nearby beach to explore and we quickly received a phone call from Makana asking if we would like to go out on another boat the same day which we gladly accepted. Our next tour was 2 hrs later, giving us time to finish exploring. Our next boat ride was on a 12 person boat with A’a (his nickname) and Liliana. They were both amazing and a wealth of knowledge about the island and history! That man can drive a boat! He took us up into cave spots and put my daughter under a waterfall! The Na Pali coast line is not to be missed. We felt that we got a 2 for 1 deal, getting 2 meals, snorkeling twice in different spots and the grand finale of the amazing mountains. I highly recommend Makana charters for their friendly and professional staff!

Crew and communication were great! The boat was a little different than expected, but worked well. Multiple seats, but very little standing room, which is probably best in rough weather. The views are amazing from the boat! Sit on the right side for the best pictures…

Captain Aa was awesome. Really knowledgeable about the island and Hawaiian culture. He does talk a little faster but that's because he has a lot of info to passs down in short period of time. We had some rough waters so we didn't get to do any snorkeling unfortunately. Trip was awesome all ans all.

Amazing, thrilling, and beautiful . I can't say enough good things about this tour. We had a chance to go snorkeling for about an hour. Views were like nothing I've ever seen before. Lunch was delicious and the captain and crew were amazing! All born and raised in Hawaii, they shared stories and answered all questions about Hawaii and it's history. Mahalo 🤙

Had a fantastic experience aboard the Seiko with Captain A’a and crew who were all very kind, knowledgable and experienced. Beautiful coastline scenery and wildlife including a pod of spinner dolphins, and a fun sheltered snorkelling spot. Would highly recommend this trip and company. If you are someone who gets seasick then I would advise taking some medication beforehand as I noticed some of the other passengers were feeling the effects of the sea.

We did a boat/snorkeling tour up the Na Pali Coast on the Amelia K and couldn't recommend it more! Captain Makana and his crew were awesome. The scenery was breath taking. The value for all we got to see and do was great, even the sandwiches were better than expected.
