We had an excellent morning with Lionel, Elijah, and Capt. Makana!! The boat (Amelia K) was spacious, clean and easy to navigate around. Lionel and Elijah were very attentive and Capt. Makana safety drove the boat around the island. The coast is gorgeous. Unreal beauty. We had the best time!! HIGHLY Recommend. A must do while you’re on Kauai!!

Shawn and Kana made an awesome tandem of leading our group. Napali Coast is breathtaking! We had so much fun! Rich in history, sightseeing and pure fun. Shawn made sure he spoke with every one of us and knew each of our names. Music selection was also top notch 😁 Saw a family of dolphins and turtle. We were also able to squeeze in snorkeling and jumps off the boat. The cost is worth the trip. Thank you Makana Charters!

Had a great trip to the Napali Coast with Capt Mikey, Tony and Jazzy! The scenery was amazing, Capt Mikey got us in some tight spots for incredible cave views, and the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

Truly, the best. Owned and operated by Hawaiians. Support local! And also the boat was super smooth, we didn’t get queasy at all, and the restrooms & sandwiches were great. If you’re on the fence, do it, the coast is mind-boggling beautiful. It will make you appreciate Kauai even more.

This company is top-notch! They first and foremost, definitely look after your safety. I was scheduled to go on a tour, but because the winds were too high and the sea too rough they canceled as it would have been too dangerous for everyone. They immediately accommodated us and put us on another charter or offered us a full refund. We took the reschedule and had the most amazing time. The crew was incredible and so friendly and fun! We were halfway through the charter and one of the engines failed. Again for our safety, they had to return back and end the charter. They again offered to put us on another tour. Unfortunately, we were scheduled to leave our vacation and could not do it. Even though we enjoyed half the charter, the snorkeling saw the sea life had the lunch given to us. They still refunded us the full amount. That is a company. I will go back to over and over and over again. They are A+ in my book and go above and beyond on every level. If you are considering a charter tour book with them. You will never regret it!

Amazing crew, amazing experience, super good people. We got the full experience, going into caves, snorkeling, and seeing the entire Napali coast. We saw dolphins and snorkeled with a sea turtle. The boat is very smooth even in bigger swells, and the crew goes the extra step to make sure everyone has a great time.

We went on a Nā Pali Coast tour yesterday aboard the Seiko 1, and it was easily one of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had. Captain A’a and first mate Lucas were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear this was not going to be a generic “canned” tour. A’a immediately went out of his way to get to know the guests, making everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and included. He explained what to expect throughout the trip, how to stay safe, and how to get the absolute most out of the experience. His attention to detail and genuine care for everyone on board really stood out. The level of professionalism was exceptional. Between the boat safety, seamanship, and deep local knowledge of the Nā Pali Coast, this trip was truly second to none compared to any other tour we’ve taken. You could immediately tell you were in experienced and capable hands. What made the experience especially memorable was how authentic and personal it felt. The crew clearly loves what they do, and that energy carried through the entire day. The scenery was incredible, but the people running the tour are what made it unforgettable. Huge thanks to Captain A’a and Lucas for an amazing day on the water. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Kauai.

Incredible tour with Captain Mikey was incredibly knowledgeable and his staff of two. I don't need to say anything else except go.Take his tour and enjoy the knowledge.Learned and the incredible views he will take you by. Also, we just happened to be in the right place When a hiker high up in the mountains needed assistance, and he turned the boat around to give the coast guard coordinates to rescue the hiker. Thanks!
