I’m born and raised In Hawaii so I’ve done and seen it all, and let me tell you this is one of the best activities I have ever done in my life. The captain was amazing, the crew was very caring and funny, and everything in general was an overall 10/10. Next time I’m in Kauai I’m definitely gonna do this again and bring more family and friends. If you had the choice to only do one activity during your trip, this would be it !

The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am not really sea worthy but I did fine on the trip. The scenery was beautiful. Snorkeling was minimal. If you expect the bright colors that are seen in the Caribbean then you will be disappointed. We saw seal dolphins and sea turtles on our trip. I would recommend while visiting Kauai!

Really really rough sea experience. Even if you are not prone to sea sickness, you need to take something and bring ginger chews to help. The first two hours were constant rough water. We were able to go into any caves and no snorkeling either. Not the experience I was expecting and took 3 days to actually recover from the ride. Just a heads up that they did not give any heads up on the change of plans until we were just boarding the boat. Also you have to go to a harbor parking lot where you have to pay $20 to park which is absolutely ridiculous. I would not do this experience again and do not think it is worth doing.

A great experience with fabulous sights and everybody who works on the boat is super friendly! We saw a lot of dolphins just next to the boat, they jumped all around us, wow! A to do activity, do not miss it!

Makana Charters was an amazing experience! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and very experienced. They knew what was safe out on the water, and weren’t willing to make any risks that would put us at harm. They assured us if it wasn’t safe to snorkel they’d make it up to us by taking us further down the coast. Communication beforehand was great. 10/10 experience!

The crew and captain are fantastic! Captain knew what he was doing. We had some swells out there but the captain made everyone feel safe and as comfortable as possible. The crew was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They can tell you anything you’d want to know about Kauai. We had 3 small kids and they were very attentive to all of them. My oldest wasn’t afraid to try anything. My middle one was nervous about everything and my youngest was slightly sea sick and they were. Awesome with all of them. Lastly the VIEWS are amazing. You definitely need to see the island from the boat tour.

Dolphins, sunshine, anuenue🌈 and the historical, majestic NaPali coastline!! Amazing views!! The boat driver was expert-level in the huge swells and waves (so fun), the guides kept everyone safe and secure, always assisting people when standing around; steering to safe areas, away from any sign of jellies for snorkeling and diving. This experience had a beautiful authentic Hawaiian ohana vibe!

Memorial Day 2026 Trip. We headed out around 2pm in the afternoon. Beautiful weather. Captain Mike and Team were well organized and briefed and prepared us for the 5 hour tour. Tour out and back was unbelievable. Na Pali Coast is stunning. Water is the bluest you've ever seen, coast line was incredible. Captain got us as close to the highlight spots ( caves, coast line features, etc.) as you could get. The one cave he pulled into you could almost touch the walls ! Along the way, informative messages from the team members about each area, so a learning experince too. Paused for an hour for some swimming/snorkeling. This was one of the BEST excursions my wife and I have every taken!!! We even got to see a rainbow on the way back in. What a memorable experience. Thank you Captain Mike and the Team !

Amazing experience Napali Coast Tour. I highly recommend! We saw many dolphins on our way to see the Napali coast. Capt Aa made sure we get to experience a dolphin tour as well. We went to 2 sea caves. My husband loved the tour inside the sea cave. We went in end of May, so the sea was little rough and capt made sure we had a great tour safely. It is better to go in good sea conditions as waves can be huge and difficult to deal with, but the capt was great and very skilled local. We didn’t snorkel because the water was too cold, so if u plan to snorkel pick Summer months even May is cold.

Great time with captain mike and Eli. Amazing tour, saw dolphins and an amazing view of the Nāpali coast. Snorkeling was a little bit of an afterthought but weren’t able to snorkel their best location

Excellent crew and captain ! If you don’t know if you get sea sick take Dramamine! Sometimes the sea is unpredictable . I think thoroughly enjoyed the trip
