This was one of the best tours I've ever taken. Great boat, captain, and first mate. Beautiful coastline. Snack tasted good with unlimited drinks. Good talks with humorous delivery at times. We saw sea turtles, lots of dolphins and fish. The ocean water was so clear I could easily see the bottom 18 ft below.

Had a wonderful time. Everyone was so helpful. Sam went above and beyond in helping me. I'm getting old 76 and am not that steady on my feet. Sam got me a walking stick. He helped me so I didn't follow in the stream. Very enjoyable definitely worth the money. Beautiful waterfall

GREAT RIDE!!! The staff was very safety oriented and they were so much fun! Gave us a lot of history, timed it so we could snorkel and how much they loved their jobs was very apparent. Mckanna cant be beat for a great time aboard the Amelia K!!!

We had a very good experience with Makana Charter Tours. They gave a lot of information as we went through the 2hr tour before snorkeling for about 30 minutes. The whole tour is about 5hs. My daughter is 12 years old and loved seeing all the fish when we snorkled l. They took us through caves and saw waterfalls along the way. It was magnificent! They provide all snorkeling gear and sandwiches with chips as well as a variety of drinks. You will not be disappointed.

It was my granddaughter Amelia‘s seventh birthday, And it is a memory she will cherish forever, As we all will. This family treated my family like Ohana. This trip was amazing! Captain Mike, Tony, and Jasmin were such friendly guides and had so much history and great personal island connections to share. The Makana Charter boat tour along the Na Pali Coast was absolutely breathtaking and easily our family's favorite excursion of the entire trip to Kauai. It's hard to truly appreciate the island's incredible topography while you're walking on the island, but being out on the open water gave us a whole new perspective. The mountains are massive, and the lush green cliffs covered in grass and trees are simply stunning. The entire crew onboard was extremely friendly and accommodating. They kept us laughing and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. One word of caution—be careful when exiting the sea caves! We got completely soaked by a waterfall while leaving one of the caves. But honestly, sometimes you've got to take a little risk to capture that perfect photo. If you're vacationing in Kauai, don't miss the opportunity to experience the Na Pali Coast aboard the Makana. For our family, it was worth every penny.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would! What a great tour. Lots of important history all across the coast. The crew was outstanding. They did cater to the tourists - without condescension, though. We all felt welcome. Even though it seemed inconvenient to be in full sun (row 3)... ended up being the greatest experience. Thanks Jaz, Capt. Rob, & Tim! If I got your names wrong, sorry! We love you & even folks who have done the coast before said this was the best. Book tbis one!!!

Amazing experience! Captain Rob and crew were friendly, funny and full of knowledge as they took us 32 miles up the beautiful NaPali Coast. As a bonus, Rob piloted the boat expertly into several deep caves, some curtained with waterfalls. Sitting in the front row was a huge win. It was a sunny day, and many people tried to sit under the awning. And since we were almost the last people on the boat we sat in the front row. There was no one between us and the unbelievable views. Bring reef-safe sun screen, a hat and cover up The ride is plenty windy and bumpy, but the seat pads are comfy enough even for my old bones. It was definitely an E-ticket ride like Indiana Jones at Disneyland. Fantastic!

We had so much fun! Captain Mike and crew (Lili and Kana) were so personable and nice. We saw a turtle and a huge dolphin pod. Captain Mike told the history of the islands and told us the names and meanings of the waterfalls. We went into the sea caves and saw the most amazing scenery. The kids had a blast jumping off the boat and snorkeling with the turtles and fish. Best thing we’ve done so far!
