If you’re looking for a boat tour of the Napali coast this is it! The crew are super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The boat is super comfortable and can go where the sailboats can’t! (We didn’t see them under sail at all so why not take a boat that can go IN all the caves and not just outside them!) Food was simple but delicious and the snorkeling was nice too. Highly recommend!

Great morning boat tour of the Napali coast. The captain was entertaining and kept it real. The coastline was breathtaking. We saw some spinner dolphins on the way out and back. Sea wind made the ride a bit choppy. Only disappointment is where we anchored to snorkel it was about 200 yards offshore with no reef or fish. It was just a swim. Although the snorkeling was a letdown, the rest of the experience was great. Would do it again!

We did the afternoon cruise on Amelia and had a great experience. From snorkeling and seeing turtles to watching a school of dolphins entertaining us then seeing the Na pali Cathedrals, cliffs and caves up close, the Makana crew was fantastic. From registration process, parking and overall customer service was fantastic. Most notably the crew shared their personal historical/cultural experience as they told a story during the cruise which made us appreciate the island of Kauai even more! Great experience!!!

This tour was fabulous. Captain Mike, Kona and Lailani were great hosts. The captain was so patient, finding several dolphin pods. The swells were high but he found a great little place to snorkel. The captain was so skilled in the cave openings. This was so worth the money. Fabulous way to see places you can only reach by boat and Makana Charters was a great company to go with.

This was advertised as a snorkeling tour, it was not a snorkeling tour. We spent 3 hours on the boat looking at the coast, which is beautiful but three hours is too much. The reason we chose this tour was to do the snorkeling and we spent 20 min “snorkeling” with no fish. I understand climate changes, but don’t advertise it as a snorkel tour if it’s not guaranteed. We have traveled many places that guarantees snorkeling and they all have been on point. Not this place. I gave them 2 stars because they were friendly and funny, just disappointed in the snorkeling.

went on the tour with my mother and sister (they do not swim) the crew was amazing and the way they treated them was so encouraging that they got into the water. I had a blast with the crew! they took time with all the people on the boat, took pictures and best of all they showed us that you can just let the views take your breath away

We had a lovely tour of the Napali Coast with Makana, Ethan and Kana. We did the morning cruise and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We saw a big pod of dolphins on our way, spent time in caves, and then the coast itself. We also enjoyed the snorkeling. We are vegetarian and the veg sandwiches were pretty delicious. The crew was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun to be with. When I’m back in Kauai, I’ll look to book another tour with them.

Had a great time on our Napali Coast tour today. Definitely the highlight of the trip so far and will probably be the best of the entire trip. It was so much fun and will be something we will never forget. Saw lots of dolphins (3 pods) and were able to go in a sea cave but the snorkeling conditions weren't good so we swam instead. Would definitely do it again when we come back. For anyone debating if it worth the money, it absolutely is.

The best Na’pali coat tour we’ve ever taken! We did the Na’pali Kai III boat which is fiberglass and was super smooth over the waves. We sat up front on the right side which were amazing seats. Captain took us in sea caves which were mind blowing. The scenery was amazing and the snorkeling on the way back was great, crystal clear water and so many fish. We saw a pod of dozens of dolphins also! Highly recommend this boat tour. The staff was amazing!

Such an incredible experience - cannot recommend highly enough! Perfect way to experience and learn about the Na Pali coast. We saw the coast, sea caves, and tons of marine life (including turtles, seals, dolphins, etc). I did the Seiko II and the captain/crew were the best!

Our captain Ri was amazing! She did everything to show us the most amazing corners on this trip. The 16 people was perfect for us that feel more comfortable with less noisy and smaller crowds. It takes a good 5 hours. It is absolutely gorgeous views and absolutely beautiful crystal clear water. Totally worth it. 100% recommended. Na Pali Coast tour in Seiko, we would do it again anytime!

Rhiannon and Lionnel(not sure if that's how you spell it I am sorry) provided great experience for our Na Pali coast tour! Seiko 1 was an amazing fast boat and smooth ride! I recommend doing the Seiko 1 r 2 boat for the Na Pali coast adventure!

What a memorable trip this was. I was a little nervous about getting seasick, but there were no problems with any of us on board. The crew and the captain did an excellent job taking us on every site. There is on the Napoli Coast. The views are incredible and the crew took the time to let us take pictures and tell us about all of the sites. We saw a pot of 300+ dolphins and enjoyed watching them with their little babies. Got to snorkel and view turtles. Overall, this is one of my favorite excursions of our trip to Hawaii. Thank you!

The tour guides were very friendly and explained very well the scenery nd the boat ride. Since the Napoli coast area reachable by water only, the Makana Charters Napoli Coast Tour is worth taking as we four enjoyed the tour.
