We took the morning tour up the Napali coast and it was absolutely amazing! We saw a pod of spinner dolphins on the way out. The crew, Makana, Kana, and Ethan were extraordinary! Their knowledge and their Aloha were top notch. The boat is superior as well. Covered seats if you want them, bathrooms on board, great snorkeling gear, and a lot of fun times! Great tour for all! We will definitely book again with Makana Charters! Mahalo!!

This was by far and away the highlight of my trip to Kaua’i. The crew was funny, chatty, and very knowledgeable about the area. The captain was amazing, and the snorkeling was beautiful. It is worth every penny, and then some.

This was by far the highlight of our trip!!!! We did the 2pm tour on the Amelia K- The crew was amazing from start to finish- so personable and informative! Besides the gorgeous coast, we saw dolphins, monk seals, even a shark! We loved going into the sea caves and snorkeling on the way back was like jumping into Nemo’s fish tank! I would do this tour again if we ever came back to visit! Highly recommend!!!!!!

This tour was the highlight of my trip, staff were exceptional and super knowledgeable, especially for me and my brother who wanted to do as much as possible. Special shoutout to the guy working part time (didn’t catch his name but he also works at a surf shop) he was super cool and personable. Lunch was good and a great highlight is because it’s not a catamaran the ship actually goes through the caves on the coast, highly highly recommend.

Absolutely a beautiful and fun day on the Napoli Coast. Ree and Lionel are excellent with the boat and both are very nice and funny. We saw Spinner dolphins, a monk seal, a manta ray. Perfect day, highly recommended.

We had the best time on our charter! The crew was amazing! They were friendly and knew their stuff when it came to the history of the Na Pali Coast as well as native Hawaiian culture! The crew made sure everyone was having a good time and that no one was sea sick! They were quick and efficient when handing out the snorkeling gear and answered every question we had about the different fish we saw! Overall 10/10 would do again! Shout out to Captain Rob and his crew for going above and beyond to make our experience amazing!

We went on the morning snorkeling tour. It was amazing! There was so much sea life along the coast and the landscapes were stunning. The whole crew were super friendly and knowledgeable. It was really great being on a boat with a smaller group. The snorkeling and swimming was fun and there was a tasty lunch. Highly recommend this boat trip! Would rate more than five stars if I could!

Just had this Na Pali Coast tour in the morning and had the pleasure of touring with Sean and Charlie! The tour was informative, fun, worth every penny! Sean can really drive that boat! Charlie and he had many jokes and anecdotes that made for an entertaining few hours out on the coast. Def spring for the smaller group, we got super lucky in that everyone was also humorous and down to clown and have fun! PLUS this is a locally owned family business, win-win! Cheers!

The Makana Charters tour we purchased was for the morning tour on their Amelia K vessel, which departed from Port Allen. The crew demonstrated professionalism throughout the entire tour and were very patient with my kids and the other guests. The Amelia K vessel is a fine boat with excellent design. The seats are high, making sitting easy without requiring much of a squat to get down or up. The design of the boat makes viewing the ocean and coastline very easy, and it offers seats that are shaded or the option to sit in a sunnier area. The boat has rails and overhead rails to make walking around safe and easy. The flooring of the boat is a grippy, soft material that makes it easy to walk around on. The captain of our boat has relatives from the Nā Pali Coast, and you can hear in his voice that he truly cares about this land and is very knowledgeable about the Nā Pali Coast. It's difficult to put into words how beautiful this tour is! All I can say is, book the tour with Makana Charters!
