What an amazing experience! An expert job by Captain Mike and crew (Eli and Charlie) provided our family with an unforgettable lifetime memory! The navigation into the caves is such a unique experience we will never forget! An absolute must do when visiting Kauai. We will do it again. The Amelia K. Is a great vessel too.

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. Spectacular sites, great snorkeling, and the crew (Jasmine, Macana, and Uncle L) made the trip all the more special in sharing local Hawaiian history throughout the tour. The captain even expertly navigated the boat to a nearby pod of dolphins which got close enough to touch the boat. A once in a lifetime experience I’d recommend to anyone visiting the island.

Beautiful and adventure, some boat ride. Got very close to the clips and caves, but always felt safe. The water is very choppy there, but miraculously I never felt seasick. Snorkeling was lovely. Lunch was an afterthought.

Absolutely fantastic tour, captain, and crew. They had an appropriate focus on safety which is key when traversing the Pacific Ocean. The views were stunning, snorkeling super clear water and saw plenty of fish, a wonderful day.

The boat was amazing! The captain and crew were great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend. I normally get sea sick but didn’t not get sea sick at all on this boat.

My daughter and I experienced a truly unique, unforgettable, and incredibly beautiful Napali Coast tour. It wasn‘t just the Napali Coast with its magnificent, stunning natural beauty that was wonderful the crew was, too! Everyone, including the captain, was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. They looked after each of us as if we were their own Ohana! Furthermore, they shared stories about their history and culture a truly lovely touch that made us feel even more connected to them and the beautiful island of Kauai. Everything was simply wonderful! We would definitely choose Makana Charters again if we were to take such an incredible tour in the Future. A huge thank you! And also Mahalo for the beautiful Shells!!! Mina & Rona :)

Not sure if this tour is worth it. When we went for our afternoon sail, the ocean was choppy with 5-6 ft waves. So the ride was not comfortable like a roller coaster for four hours. Consequently there was no place to snorkel. We couldn’t even see Napa li coast peacefully. We did go in a large open top cave and in the opening of another cave with waterfall at the entrance. The crew was cordial and comforted those who were throwing up. Saw more fish at PoiPu at the shore. No big fish either. We should have skipped this one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Napali coastline trip with Captain Rob, Adam & Neah! The views were amazing. Because of the wind & choppy water our granddaughter said it was like a roller coaster at Disney World! Ha. We wished we could have had calmer waters to snorkel but enjoyed the deep water swimming. Thank you for your service!

Two things, Tim the boat captain was sensational. Informative, safe, pleasant and took the time to make sure every single person got the most from their experience. How he handled the boat in rough waters was remarkable.. first mate Jay, did everything and anything anyone asked. Prepared, happy, always with a smile. I hope his future holds that he becomes a boat captain next. We have owned a 20-26 foot boat for 37 years, and we were impressed! This was our first time back to the Pali coast in almost 20 years. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience. It will not be another 20 before we are back again, that we can promise. Jim and Lisa Marie Kavanagh
