A “comfortable” castle. We took the Royal guided tour at 3 pm on the 23rd of Sept and our guide, whose name was something like Maranda, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She brought the history alive and told us much about the country, its history, and its legends that we hadn’t heard before. She told us about the impressive Queen Maria and how Vlad Dracula was a widely respected and admired hero. Highly recommend the tour.

One place on my "places too see" ticked off. Presentation and information was so well laid out. Wasn't over crowded and also plenty of things to see and do, coupled with great food stalls. Dracula's castle didn't disappoint.
