Didn’t engage even when approached. Overall dull. Really recommend Peleş Castle. 🏰 It’s totally worth the visit!:)

Get ready for a long wait (over 1 hour) in line, even though you bought tickets online with an hour. The line numbered hundreds of people, when we finally reached the entrance of the castle. If anyone has played the game "Snake" on their Nokia, that's how all of us tourists were inside, in line, looking at the different rooms and departments of the castle. In short - I wonder if you buy a ticket online. The people in charge of the checkpoint, completely Balkan-style, were just there. The other pointless thing was the parking lot - good thing we found a spot. The parking machine required 2 minutes between card transactions. Guess how long the queue was (and correspondingly slow). Good thing an employee of their "Parking and Garages", 5+ stars for him, came to bring some laughter and cheer. The best thing was my awesome partner, who took me to this tourist attraction, and we shared this hate. And one more thing - in all of Romania you can't find a normal fridge magnet without Count Dracula on it. Otherwise, they have good coffee. (Original) Здравейте! Nice place! Maybe overpriced for its value tbh, the castle itself wasn’t so big, but pretty nice. Territory around the castle was really nice, full of interesting spots. It’s better to book a ticket in advance and at morning to avoid crowds. Also, if you are going from Brasov, there is local bus for 15 RON (only cash) every hour, so it was easy without a car. I highly recommend visiting the souvenir market near the palace and the street food stalls. the food there is much tastier than in the overpriced restaurants around. Also, there’s an amazing spot on the market inside one of the archways where a nice woman sells handmade drawings, postcards, and prints by a local artist.
