What really annoyed me was that dogs aren't allowed inside the castle, not even small dogs that could easily be carried. This meant my husband had to stay outside with our little dog, and I explored the rooms and galleries alone. This, of course, significantly diminished our shared experience. It was interesting to see, but to be honest, my expectations were higher. Ich hatte es mir allerdings deutlich beeindruckender vorgestellt – vor Ort ist alles sehr touristisch und bei unserem Besuch war unglaublich viel los. Was mich wirklich geärgert hat: Hunde dürfen nicht mit ins Schloss, auch nicht kleine Hunde, die man problemlos tragen könnte. Dadurch musste mein Mann mit unserem kleinen Hund draußen bleiben und ich bin allein durch die Räume und Galerien gegangen. Das hat das gemeinsame Erlebnis natürlich ziemlich geschmälert. Interessant, einmal gesehen zu haben – aber meine Erwartungen waren ehrlich gesagt höher.

Die Burg an sich ist sehr schön aber das ganze drum herum ist furchtbar! Disneyland lässt grüßen! Es wird nach wie vor als Dracula Schloss beworben obwohl er nur ein paar Tage auf Durchreise da war! Auch der Eintrittspreis mit 24,-€ p.P. hat uns aufstoßen lassen. Innen wird man mit den Menschenmassen (vor allem Amerikaner) durchgeschoben und für Extra Ausstellungen bezahlt man nochmal! Fazit: Schade ☹️

Sam zamek oczywiście ma ciekawą historię i położenie, ale za cenę biletu spodziewaliśmy się czegoś więcej. W środku nie znaleźliśmy zbyt wielu rzeczy, które zrobiłyby na nas większe wrażenie. Do tego ogromna liczba turystów sprawia, że zwiedzanie momentami jest bardziej przepychaniem się między ludźmi niż spokojnym oglądaniem zamku. Okolica jest bardzo nastawiona na turystów – mnóstwo kramów, pamiątek i różnych stoisk, przez co całość sprawia trochę chaotyczne i komercyjne wrażenie. Jeśli ktoś jest fanem Draculi, pewnie warto zobaczyć Bran chociaż raz. Dla nas jednak w porównaniu z innymi miejscami w Rumunii był to raczej jeden ze słabszych punktów wyjazdu. Przy tej cenie i liczbie turystów spodziewaliśmy się zdecydowanie więcej.
