Why take this tour?

There is a Yamabushi temple just 20 minutes away by car from JR Hatsukaichi Station. This unique temple was founded by ancient yamabushi-pilgrims who worshiped sacred mountains. The chief priest in traditional yamabushi clothes will guide us to the main temple hall with statues of Fudo-Myo and Zaogongen deities. We can also see a place of spiritual training under the waterfall. Also you can try triton-trumpets used by yamabushi pilgrims. After seeing Yamabushi Temple we will visit a nearby farmer's warehouse. In the past warehouses were built to store rice crops. In Kawasue village there are several farmers who still uses warehouses built in more than 100 years ago.This region is also known for its sloping terrain.You can have a chat with farmers, watching the beautiful scenery of rice terraces and Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima.
