Mountain Hiking guided tour in Miyajima Misen!

Enjoy mountain hiking experience in Miyajima with an expert guide! This tour will take about 5 hours.

Meet at the Omoto Shrine. We will pick you up from a ferry pier or hotel lobby in Miyajima Island, if you want. Please come 15 min. before the start time.

Start climbing the mountain. From a ferry landing pier to the top of the mountain is about 6 km. We will slowly climb up 535 m for about 3 hours.

We will take "Omoto" route where you can learn about Miyajima history, culture and nature. It is an entrance path to Miyama Shrine, so let's climb together with a feeling of entering the territory of God.

You will have lunch at the top of the mountain. Lunch is NOT included in this tour so please bring something to eat. After the lunch, you will watch Miyama shrine, Misen Hondo and Reikado.

Then you walk to Shishiiwa station. Take a ropeway to Momijidani station. When you arrive at Momijidani staion, we will take a commemorative photo and the tour is finished.

Notes:

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that is suitable for mountain hiking.

・You will go down the mountain by the ropeway.
