Tour of Aki Province - Cycling Tour Around the Shrines in Hatsukaichi city!

This is a cycling tour you can explore World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine of Miyajima and 4 famous shrines with a long and distinguished history in Hatsukaichi.

​You will have lunch at cafe used by local residents, located inside the Momijidani park where you can also see deers.

The tour is conducted by an experienced guide who has worked with many foreign tourists.

Tour Steps​

①9:45 Assemble at JR Hatsukaichi Station North Exit　

②Go to Hatsukaichi Tenmangu which worships God of Study, Sugawara no Michizane.

③Next is Hayatani Shrine with 1800 years of history which is believed to be an ancestor god of Aki Province.​ ​​ ​　

④We will take ferry to Miyajima

⑤After having lunch at Momijidani park, we will go to Itsukushima Shrine.

⑥We will cycle around the wooden daikyodo which is called Senjokaku.

⑦Return by ferry to Hatsukaichi

⑧Finally we will visit Jigozen Shrine which was built as the outer part of Itsukushima Shrine.

⑧Return to JR Hatsukaichi Station and photo shooting.
