Orca and dolphins show were incredible. First aid team were fabulous. Couple of retails at the drink refill stations were obnoxious and rude, specially the one under the Mantra ride opposite the store. Food there was appalling, too. I’d avoid Altitude Burgers like a plague.

Overpriced, Understaffed, and Plagued by "Technical Difficulties" My wife and I visited SeaWorld looking forward to a great getaway, but the park missed the mark on almost every front. We spent about $550 for the two of us, and sadly, the value just wasn't there. The entire operation felt understaffed, inefficient, and severely lacking in quality control. The "No Wait" Irony We arrived at 9:00 AM and waited 45 minutes just to pick up our pre-paid Quick Queue and All-Day Dining bracelets. The park felt completely unstaffed right from the start. Waiting in a massive line for a pass designed to put you at the front of the line is a frustrating way to start the day. All-Day Dining: A Wasted Expense The dining pass rules state you can eat every 90 minutes from 11:00 AM until the park closes at 7:00 PM. However, several restaurants started shutting down by 5:00 PM. Because they were closing, we couldn't order what we wanted and were forced to take whatever leftovers remained. The food we did get was incredibly subpar: Captain Pete's: The chili dogs had dry buns that tasted like the bag had been left open overnight. The Smokehouse: The ribs were tender but barely above room temperature. The BBQ beans tasted cold, straight out of a can. We also waited 20 minutes just to "pay" (scan our bracelets) because there was only one cashier and the credit card machines were experiencing technical difficulties. Expedition Café Area: We stopped here at 5:00 PM and were only allowed to get cheeseburgers because that was all they had left. Everything was cold except the exact spots exposed to the heat lamps. The homemade chips were inedible. We threw our meals in the trash after two bites. The Dolphin Experience This extra add-on accounted for nearly half of our total budget. We were required to arrive 30 minutes early for an experience that lasted less than 10 minutes. We each got to feed the dolphin one fish, saw two tricks, and pet it. To make matters worse, they had "technical problems" with the cameras, meaning we couldn't even view or purchase our photos. We paid a premium for a memory we could not capture. Canceled Shows We lined up at 6:00 PM with a massive crowd for the 6:30 PM Orca show. At 6:25 PM, they canceled it completely, citing more "technical difficulties." This is a huge letdown considering there are only three live shows at the park to begin with (dolphins, seals, and orcas), and each show only runs twice a day. When a show gets canceled, it severely limits what you can actually do and see. A Bright Spot: Expedition Fire and Ice To be fair, I will add one positive: the Expedition Fire and Ice ride was great. It was easily the best thing we experienced all day, and it is a shame the rest of the park's operations didn't match the quality of that specific ride. The Verdict We are planning a large family trip to Orlando next year once our son is back from China, but we will definitely be passing on SeaWorld in the future. Between the cold food, chronic understaffing, and constant technical issues, the park does not justify its price tag

My goodness, was this ever the ultimate disappointment. Forget the astronomical fee just to get in. Forget the entrapment parking fee. Forget the time spent getting there. The biggest problem is the place itself. The facility is astonishingly poorly designed for the climate. It genuinely makes you wonder how, years ago, someone sat down with the blueprints for a theme park in Orlando and apparently gave so little thought to the heat. It was one of the first things we all noticed after walking in. Your only real escape from the scalding sun seems to be the endless procession of rinse and repeat gift shops. Then there was the food. We paid $75 for the worst fish and chips imaginable and two other thoroughly forgettable dishes. For that kind of money, I could have eaten at a fancy restaurant and still had enough left over for margaritas. And look, I get it. It's a tourist trap. Inflated prices, overpriced food and shameless attempts to separate you from your money are part of the deal. But even accepting all of that overlooks the bigger problem: the place itself just felt boring, cheap and uninspired. We went to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and, good Lord, was that fun. The difference is almost difficult to overstate. Here, everything seemed to scream cheap and simple. Even the plush toys in the gift shops looked low quality. Maybe that's ultimately why it was such a disappointment. With a name like SeaWorld, in a place like Orlando, I expected the world. Sadly, what we experienced was very nearly the opposite.

Sea World used to be our favorite theme park and the only one we would get annual passes to. Now, if it weren't for Aquatica, I wouldn't have an annual pass. Sea World is no longer about education and experiencing the wonders of the sea. It's more about roller coasters and simulator rides. The aquariums are small and a lot of them are dirty or constantly under repair. The shows are no longer as entertaining and informational as they used to be.

Definitely recommend for tourists and enthusiasts. Reasonable price and if you like fun you should definitely come. The rides have short lines and reasonable prices for food. Rollercoasters are great and will attract alot of thrill seekers.
