The whole trip was amazing from start to finish. Everything was well organised and we had wonderful time. We were very happy with our guide Oscar who was excellent and he explained everything to us very clearly, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience even more enjoyable. Lovely excursion
Fantastic tour guide who talked to us the entire trip even while she was driving us to and fro. She was extremely informative and had a rich background. The actual wine tasting was not long and then we had approximately 30 min in Saint Emilion to explore the town on our own.

Great host but Australians may be surprised at the small wine tastings
We were picked up in a mini van to seat 9 and every seat was full which made the air con struggle in a really hot day (38 degrees). The host was funny and engaging but we only visited 2 wineries where we only tasted 2 glasses of wine at each - good quality wine but it was an hour drive each way and I thought we would sample more - which is probably my misunderstanding of Bordeaux wineries - just a heads up

Terrific Wine Tasting & History Tour
We visited a small chateau about an hour from Bordeaux. During the van ride, our knowledgeable tour guide kept us entertained the entire time. We tasted four great wines, learned about the process of making wine, and on our way home, explored a lovely town called Saint-Emilion where we did a little shopping and had some sorbet. Overall, it was a lovely four-hour afternoon excursion!

Great trip! Beautiful sight, I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Breathtaking and beautiful abbey, definitely worth seeing. Our guide Lu, was really nice and told us all the important things about the history of the Abbey. The mini bus was also comfortable and everything went really well 🙂

Dishonourable Tour Company
This was canceled the day before the tour, leaving us with nothing to do on that day :( We booked and paid months ago. They did ask me a month before the trip if we would change our day, but I explained that we had plotted our hotels and train tickets especially around this event. They said they would keep it confirmed but then canceled the day before. Shame on you for doing this to people.

Wonderful tour of the Alsace. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. His expertise in various subject areas made for an entertaining and educational day. Highly recommended.

We had the very best afternoon in St Emilion and wine tasting at the Chateau Bellevue with Matise as our guide. He was so very informative about Bordeaux, St Emilion and the wine making process. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ophorus Tours if you are holidaying in Bordeaux 10/10 Merci Beaucoup!
