My family and I had an absolutely incredible time on the Leialoha! Rhi & Tony - thank you is too pale. You both are such treasures. We so enjoyed the breath taking views and truly loved the thoughtful and fascinating stories that Tony shared. Our family will never forget this experience(or Rhi & Tony!).

Incredible experience with Makana Charters. We felt safe and supported the entire duration of the trip. Guides were kind, interactive and educated guests on the history of the coast. We had two children 9 & 10 for the trip. They enjoyed it just as much as the adults. Dolphin sightings at multiple times on the trip. Snorkeled with lots of fish and turtles! 10/10 would recommend this tour. Kana and Jamie were GREAT!

Loved the Makana Charters tour! Our family had a wonderful time. Captain A’alona was amazing. His great sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable and fun. We got to see the dolphins, the inside of caves and learn about the Napali coast of the island. Wonderful experience with the family. Highly recommend the tour.

A Great Trip happens when its planned,managed and executed by great team.That is exactly what we experienced. Dont remember the names,but captain and his staff on our boat made our trip super memorable. Captain gave all necessary instructions and then shared all Na Pali history,places of interest and Hawaiian culture. His staff was super cool,always engaging everyone with their conversations and kept the boat alive. For sure,I recommend this trip to everyone that want to experience a great scenic boat ride on rough seas. Yes,its ocean and its rough,so be prepared and have necessary sea sick medicines handy if needed.

Made our entire trip!! Captain Rob, kaiao, and nikki were seriously the best. They were so funny, kind, and made the whole experience so much fun. We had an amazing time, If you’re doing a Nā Pali Coast tour, 100% recommend going with the Nā Pali Kai III!

The COOLEST experience I’ve ever done. Ethan , Nikki and captain rob all made is so worth it and so much fun. We learned so many things as well about the island itself , surround islands and even amazing recommendations. Everyone needs to experience this!! Ethan and Nikki you guys are AMAZING!!!

Felt the aloha spirit from our captain Unko A’a even before boarding the vessel. His insights into all of the landmarks along the Napali coast and their importance to the Hawaiian people past and present made the tour that much more memorable. Mahalo Unko A’a! 🤙🏽

Excellent trip aboard the Amelia K boat with Makana Charters. I did research on diff boats, rafts, cruises and choose the boat ride/snorkel trip. It was the highlight of our trip. I did not want to sit sideways on a raft for 4-5 hours and choose the boat based on reviews and style of boat. It has covered seating facing forward, 2 bathrooms and they provided lunch. Tour guides were awesome and knowledgable. Snorkeling was great and they also let you jump off the top of the boat. They hit high speed at time and the boat goes airborne. Kids loved it. Pricing was reasonable compared to others. We saw Dolphins, birds, schools of fish and turtles when snorkeling. Great family trip.

Best experience!!!! My whole family enjoyed it. My son was seasick half the trip but he still wanted it to last longer! The guides were great-Shawn and Kaiao-they were funny and knowledgeable (and great music on the boat). They made sure everyone was comfortable. My kids snorkeled for the first time and they were very supportive and helpful! 10/10!! I would highly recommend!

Captain A’alona and Kaimalie from Makana Charters were fantastic! They made the entire experience so much fun while also making everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The crew was incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions or point out wildlife and landmarks along the way. The Nā Pali Coast is absolutely breathtaking and an absolute must-see if you’re visiting Kauaʻi. The views are unlike anything else, and seeing the coastline from the water is unforgettable. Just be prepared for a bumpy ride, especially if the ocean is choppy, but it’s 100% worth it. I couldn’t recommend Makana Charters enough!
