I had an amazing experience with Makana Charters. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many great details throughout the tour, which made it even more special. The views of the Nā Pali Coast were absolutely breathtaking. I would highly recommend booking with them if you’re visiting Kauai.

Amazing experience!! Captain and crew were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Amelia K boat was comfortable and gave us great views of Napali. We even got to see dolphins up close! Definitely a must do when visiting Kauai.

Rob, Tony, and Lilliana were friendly, entertaining and knew there stuff! Were always aware of the boats placement and surroundings, which helped everyone to feel comfortable and safe. We will be back!

An amazing day! Sean and Elijah led a fantastic tour, full of information and humor. The scenery is breathtaking, and the chance to snorkel is an added treat.

Our trip was wonderful! The captain and crew members, Asia and Lincoln, were helpful and entertaining. Our captain was able to maneuver the boat into the caves at the side of the mountain without smashing against the walls, even with the rough water. It was pretty amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the history of this area of Kuaui that the crew shared with us, was incredibly interesting. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience the Na Pali coast from the ocean. Gorgeous!

A highlight of our vacation for sure!! We were on the Amelia K morning tour. Loved the crew- Mike, Ethan, & Elijah- they were so fun & easy going, and worked so hard to make sure every person was comfortable and having a good time. Captain Mike had so many stories and told us all about the history of beautiful Kaua’i & specifically the NaPali coastline as we got UP CLOSE for some epic pictures! It was seriously breathtaking! We saw SO MANY dolphins, mamas & their babies too… caves, beaches, waterfalls, and of course the towering mountains of the NaPali coastline. Snorkeling was amazing as well- saw turtles and tons & tons of fish! They fit everyone with snorkel masks, flippers, & a floaty to use while snorkeling. There were a few people that were pretty nervous about swimming or snorkeling and Elijah & Ethan were SO great & calming with them- explaining everything, helping them feel comfortable with whatever they chose- to swim or not. I just can’t rave enough with how great this crew was with every person- they were happy to be there, happy to help, and happy to share their love of Kaua’i- that truly made the experience worth every dollar! Would definitely do this again & recommend it to ALL!

The young lady that meet us when we arrived was so helpful and set up pickup taxi for when we arrived off the charter. She went up and beyond and we so appreciated her! The charter was awesome and Captain Mike and his crew did excellent job, stopping and showing us dolphins and explaining about the wild life, pointing out interest points, took us into caves. They were very knowledgeable and we highly recommend this charter. Thank you for the memorable 45th anniversary!

This was a really enjoyable charter. Rhi the captain and Tony the first mate were perfect for the job. Outstanding boating skills, roomy catamaran, beautiful scenery and much fun! A 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

Captain Mike and his crew run like a well oiled machine. He found us an excellent snorkeling spot and he and his crew gave us lots of interesting lore about the magnificent area. Our lunch was spot on. The trip made amazing memories. thank you Captain Mike and crew!
