We enjoyed our afternoon on Makena. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for snorkeling but we still enjoyed the views and sea caves. We were also able to see a large pod of spinning dolphins, seals, a turtle and some goats which was great. If you are prone to motion sickness, definitely take something before as several on our boat were sick. The crew was excellent and communication from the company was excellent as well.

Beautiful experience and most definitely our favourite moments while we were in Kauai. I highly recommend Makana Charters for your boat day to the Na Pali Coast. The staff on board were amazing, and we had an incredible captain as well!

The Makana tour on the Seiko II was the perfect way to end our two week stay on Kauai. The captain and crew were fun, adventurous, professional, and helpful. They made sure everyone was looked after and having an enjoyable experience. We loved hearing about local culture and history, as well as taking the time to hangout with a pod of spinner dolphins. We are so grateful for such an amazing experience. Mahalo.

This was a great tour. The Na Pali Coast is a must see. It’s beautiful. Touring with Shawn, Ethan and Kai’au was a lot of fun. They were warm, hospitable, funny and took great care of all passengers.

Had a great time, despite one of our group fracturing an ankle on bit of rough seas standing up front. The crew took excellent care of him. Still highly recommend this excursion. Sights were magnificent. Shout out to Ethan, Ky-el(sp? not kyle) and rest of crew. You were all great whether I remember your names or not.

We had a great time viewing the magnificent Napali coast on this tour! The crew was fantastic, very friendly and shared personal stories of living on the island. I would highly recommend Makana Charters to anyone coming to Kauai. The Napali Coast is definitely a must do!

Great crew, nice boat, but didn't get to snorkel. The crew didn't think the visibility was good enough. I think the customers should have voted on it or just went snorkeling.

The tour was very well done and the guides are very knowledgeable and are willing to answer all questions patiently. However, I wish the website had told people to expect an extremely bumpy ride on the return. It isn’t about seasickness, some people don’t enjoy a boat continuously flying up and crashing into waves. As good as the tour was we wouldn’t have booked this had we known how bad the return ride is expected to be. The crew said it was a calmer day, we would have hated to experience it even worse. If you love roller coasters, you won’t have a problem.
