Excellent tour! Captain Mike and his team were great - they ensured everyone on board had the best experience possible. We saw literally hundreds of dolphins, which was an amazing added bonus to the stunning coastline! I highly recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

I cant review the experience as I received a call the morning of the sail asking me to reschedule as my mother and I were the only ones booked for that afternoon sail. We were on a cruise ship and were only ported in that location on that day. Disappointing to receive this call hours before we were going to be sailing as we had to scramble to find another tour of the napali coast last second. We did find another company that squeezed us in and had a great time. The napali coast was spectacular and we would have been disappointed if we had missed out. I give two stars as they did call us to let us know. I deducted three stars for waiting until the morning of. They were aware we were the only ones and they risked us not being able to see the coast by waiting until the last second to notify us. The woman who called was polite and professional and assured me I would receive a full refund as a reschedule was not possible. I am not sure why they would request a review from someone they cancelled on

Great local company to book Na’Pali coast boat ride. Captain and crew friendly and fun. Very informative about Hawaiian history. I’m a repeat and will recommend to family and friends. Mahalo! 🌴🐬

We had such a great time on our Napoli Coast tour with Makana Charters! The crew was so friendly and great to spend the afternoon with and had so much knowledge being from the island and knowing its history. If we go again with our family, we will definitely book with them.

Bri and Elijah were super awesome to tour the Napali coast with! Would absolutely recommend going with them on the Seiko 2. We had tons of fun even with getting sea sickness (highly recommend medication even if you don’t normally get sick)

Shawn, Elijah, and Lilli were so awesome and knowledgable about the area. Their passion for where they grew up really came through on this experience and in turn, allowed us to deepen a connection with the place. Conditions were so nice in the morning, there was so much wildlife (both in and out of the water), and you could really feel the mana of the cultural sites. Would go again in a heartbeat!

It was a really good 4 hours on the ocean. We also had a swim stop which was pretty relaxing as well. We were very lucky to have rain storm on our way back

We were really pleased with our captain and his crew. They anticipated all our needs. We were fortunate to follow a pod of dolphins. We also went part way into 2 sea caves. Both were amazing. To see the Napili coast from the boat was better than expected. We would highly recommend Makana Charters.

Hands down best day of our Kaua’i vacation (and we loved every minute here!) The views are breathtaking, the crew was AMAZING. Some of us struggled with sea-sickness but they handled it like pros. Their ship was in great shape, facilities clean and very nice. Highly recommend!

1) Local Family owned business 2) The Captain & Crew were incredibly helpful, engaging and offered Top-Notch service and illuminating commentary on the historical & Scientific details regarding both onshore geography/topography as well as fascinating marine biological insights into the many pods of dolphins, sea turtles, monk seals etc we encountered on our tour. 3) The boat is SOLID and POWERFUL allowing not only for fast access to terrific Na Pali Canyon vantage points, but also gives the captain great ability to overcome any big ocean swells 4) Thrilling, up-close encounters with several cliffside coves/Caverns as well as off shore swimming and snorkeling 5) CUSTOMER SERVICE⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome experience with Capt. Sean and Ki. Saw dolphins, Sea turtles, colorful fish and plunged into the ocean. History of the island was well presented and had a great time. Thank you Sean & Ki!!!
