If you are interested in the fictional legend of Dracula or Vlad the Impaler then you won't be disappointed. The castle was not as big as I imagined, there are lots of steps and uphill climbs and is quite challenging so not really accessible for those with walking difficulties or in a wheelchair. The countryside around is beautiful and the town of Bran below the castle is full of tourist shops and eateries. Glad I've ticked it off my 'to visit' list

Its a wonderful casle and although you share your visit with many others it is quite well organaised. You book a timeslot to prevent overcrowding. The castle is well preserved and very romantik despite the Dracula hype. I can highly recomment a visit.
