We just finished the Osaka Food Tour with Akiko and it was amazing. She is so knowledgeable, interesting, has great taste in food and is a wonderful conversationalist. From the first moment to the last she introduced us to so many hidden gems in the city and hand picked great places to take us. We loved the Izakaya she took us to. We had a private tour with Akari, who walked us through a Sake bar, multiple restaurants, and a dessert food stall. Akari was extremely welcoming and enthusiastic from the moment we met her, and had lots of knowledge to share - including conversation about her own travels. The food was amazing and we finished the tour feeling VERY satisfied. Would recommend for anyone visiting Japan - especially Akari - and wanting to experience Tokyo in a new way.

Super amazing tour!! Ullyio was a phenomenal guide and really enhanced my perspective of the city of Tokyo and Japan as a whole. The food spots chosen were superb. The Okinawan food especially good. Ullyio was also extremely knowledgeable about the history of Japan which I deeply resonated with as someone who is fascinated by Japanese history. This tour is the easiest thing to recommend. We also did another in Kyoto with Russ who was very good. The food was great and he showed us some beautiful spots in the city.

We were very lucky to have had this food tour in Osaka arranged by our travel agent in Australia. The tour was fantastic and not only gave us some delicious, local food to try in Shinsekai but some insights into local traditions, history and customs. The food was selected and ordered in 4 different restaurants with a small dessert to take home. Well worth doing!

We booked 2 tours and loved them both! Shinsekai in Osaka with Akiko: There's a lot to see - and eat - on this tour: so much we came back another time to try out more things! Akiko is passionate about their city, it's history and wants to share all it has to offer. She was also great at adjusting the program and menu for what we were interested in. We really enjoyed spending a few hours with her exploring the market. Ramen Breakfast Tour with Deep: A great introduction to the variety and regionality of ramen, with someone who loves their job and encourages a sense of fun. The noodles did not disappoint: in fact - we we able to experience some of the best noodles we've ever eaten. If you are interested in what's behind the restaurant curtain, but a bit intimidated by it all, then this is for you. And the Arigato Tour admin team were really quick and helpful in answering my questions before booking: thank you!
