Kyoto Matcha green tea food tour.

Kyoto Matcha green tea tour lead by Eri was excellent. Eri was a wealth of knowledge throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves tea and wants to learn about Matcha.

Alex was our guide. He was very interesting and informative. His spoke perfect English and was easy to hear. He was on time and made sure we found our taxi . The food tour gave us a variety foods to try in 6 different venues. A truly wonderful and unique experience

Recently attended the Luxury Tokyo Sake, Cocktail, Whisky, and Pairing Tour with Emma and had a great time! Emma has lived in Tokyo for years and knew how to get around. We visited a range of places from local shops to high-end bars and combined drinks with snacks. Learned a lot, saw some cool places, and had some great drinks! Easy to recommend.

We had a wonderful tour around Shinbashi neighborhood yesterday evening with Joshua. Joshua was a warm, lively, knowledgeable ( on a wide range of topics) and confident leader for our version of the after-work experience of Tokyo salary men. Our version was much more food than alcohol oriented, thank goodness. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, I had really thought three hours would be too much for me but they passed very quickly.

A wonderful evening! We enjoyed each of the food and drink stops on our tour, none of which we would have visited on our own. Joshua was a terrific guide to the area and to Japan in general— interesting, thoughtful and fun to be with. Highly recommended!

Don’t Come Without Eating Breakfast First

This was a disappointing tour, especially considering the cost. We were 2 hours into the “FOOD” tour and the only thing we had to eat was a rice cookie. Me and my wife were both starving at that point. Part of the reason was a traditional tea ceremony that lasted about an hour. It was very nice but This wasn’t listed specifically on the itinerary. If it was then I wouldn’t have booked another tea ceremony later in my trip. Lunch was at a sushi restaurant but the table arrangements broke up the group so there wasn’t an opportunity to continue to get to know new friends met. While the guide was sweet, she was short on sharing information on the neighborhood or about different foods. In summary: - rice cookie - matcha tea and cookie - sushi - fried beef patty - beer - pasty.

Sugoi Foodie Tour!

We had a wonderful Osaka foodie tour with our informative guide Natsumi. She showed us various little known points of interest along the way. Natsumisan knew her away around to delicious food. She was very patient and calm when she waited in a line to get our dessert from an outdoor vendor too. Sorry we took so long to write review. We misplaced the business card and the email must have gone to our spam folder. Gomennasai! In any event, you will enjoy this tour!

A stroll though old Yanaka town.

Our tour was fantastic. Our guide, Miki (?) spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the area. We had lovely food, a beautiful tea ceremony and visited some great old shops and temples. But but we were mostly blown away by the walk around the area and hearing about its history, culture etc. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you.

Awesome Fish Market Tour !!

We had a great time with our tour guide, Kazuko, she introduced us to so many different types of tasty fish that we saw at the fish market. She was very knowledgeable about all the different seafood options available for us to eat for lunch. She is a very kind person and a joy to be around.

Fabulous intro to the delights of Shimbashi!

We had an excellent food tour with John on our second night of four in Tokyo. It was the perfect introduction to the best isakayas, restaurants and food in the area around our hotel. John was a great host - friendly, very knowledgeable (with an answer to all of our many questions!), and chose the tour spots perfectly. We had some delicious food, trying things we may not have been brave enough to on our own! The tour was around 3 hours and great value for money-we would highly recommend to all first time and even repeat visitors to this fabulous city and country! Arigato gozaimasu!

Traveling with a picky eater

We had Melissa as our guide and she is fabulous. We have a 12 year old is a very picky eater and somewhat shy. Melissa was able to sweet talk her into giving everything a try and managed to pull her out of her shell. Melissa also had great information and funny anecdotes about the area. One of the highlights of our trip!
