Suspended in time, in the charming village of Gete, you will walk along paths to discover the vineyards of the Royal Company. A tour that will reveal much more than you can imagine and will leave you wanting to return.
The path in the vineyard will guide you to discover the autochthonous "free foot" vines (it is a vine that has never been grafted on American roots, following the plague of Phylloxera at the end of the 19th century, so it means that they are original vines and pre-phylloxera), cultivated a few kilometers from the sea, since 1920.
Along the way you will observe the rare and more than 100-year-old ungrafted stumps, with mighty and intertwined branches, giving valuable fruits and particular characteristics.
You will know the secrets of native wines, you will discover their peculiarities and the procedures that lead from the fruit to the glass.
The Tasting begins with a visit to the 4th century Rock Chapel and continues with a visit to the centenary vineyard with free standing.
Upon returning to the company, we will visit the exhibition and production cellar.
Finally, the wine tasting will take place at the Osteria Reale and will be paired with the typical dishes of our area.
