In 2004, to relive an ancient winemaking tradition, the S. Francesco farm in Tramonti was born, the green heart of the Amalfi Coast.
The farm covers about eight and a half hectares and produces wines from the grapes of three historical local families: the Bove, the D'Avino, the Giordano.
The highly technological modern equipment of the cellar was completed by the beginning of 2005. It is set in the ancient estate belonging to the Di Palma family, the current producers, who availed themselves of the professional and expert advice of Dr. Carmine Valentino from Avellino. .
The Tasting begins with a visit to the historic pre-philloxera vineyards (300-500 years) and continues in the historic 18th century Masseria where the 17th century cellar is located, with WINE TASTING of 3 DOC wines - Amalfi Coast - Sunsets paired with " panzanella "(bread salad made of" toasted bread "- bread with double wholemeal flour, fresh tomatoes and basil) accompanied by fresh mozzarella and ricotta, aged cheeses and cured meats.
