During this action-packed day in paradise, you’ll embark on an adventurous tour of Tankah Bay, one of the most scenic spots on the Mexican Caribbean coastline. Your excursion includes all entrance fees, round-trip transportation, lunch, equipment, and a private guide, so all you’ll have to do is settle back and relax to enjoy the Yucatan sights.

After front-door hotel pickup at Tulum, you’ll be whisked away to the colorful coastal haven of Tankah Bay, where a snorkeling excursion awaits. Strap on your provided gear and plunge underwater for a firsthand peek at the world’s second-largest barrier reef, filled with tropical fish—keep your eyes peeled for stingrays and sea turtles as well.

From there, you’ll head to a sunken limestone cavern, known as a cenote. Mayas once held the holes sacred, considering them gateways to the underworld. Admire the spectacular limestone formations within the 2,000-foot (610-meter) cave while you learn about the Yucatan’s unique geology. You'll climb through wet passageways until you reach the open swimming hole, where you’ll be free to splash around. Towel off in time for a savory local lunch before getting comfortably dropped back to your hotel.
