São Jorge extreme run 2

This is a hard level 35km trail with skyrunning characteristics for the most radical ones.

This trail starts at Calhau de São Jorge from where we'll climb til the parish of Ilha. Taking an ascending road, we'll get inside of Laurissilva Forest reaching Vale da Lapa and Levada do Caldeirão Verde, from where we'll go towards Queimadas. Climbing up through a path made of stones, we'll reach a curious place formed by stacked stones named Homem em Pé.

We'll go along the central mountain massif and find a technical trail that passes through Pico do Milhafre and Pico Canário and we started going down on a dirt road that will lead us to Cascalho's forest and Levada do Rei. After a few meters, we'll reach Jogo da Bola and Fio, from where we'll return to the starting point.
