São Jorge extreme run 1

This is a hard level 31km trail with skyrunning characteristics for the most radical ones.

This route begins at Calhau de São Jorge, from where we'll cross a path til an old bridge and climb up til the parish of Ilha.

Passing the site of Vale da Lapa, we'll climb through stone steps and wooden rolls to access Pico Ruivo's road.

Along the central mountain massif, we'll reach a technical trail that passes through Pico do Milhafre and Pico Canário and we started going down through a rail surrounded by centenarian heaths til Miradouro das Voltas. After a few meters, we'll reach Jogo da Bola and Fio, from where we'll go to the starting point.
