An elegant and distinguished character comes to life to take you on a journey to learn about the architectural gems of Cartagena. Your narrator for this soundwalk is Luis Felipe Jaspe, the creator of the famous tower clock and many other monuments in Cartegena. The tour begins in a street named after him, where he points out the house were he used to live. He will also show you the house of his old neighbour, the famous poet known as the Tuerto Lopez. As you wonder around the city, you will get to see and hear special commentaries and highlights on the tower clock. As you walk around at your own pace, you will discover the stories of the martyrs that were executed by Murillo. You will learn about Cartagena´s republican past and discover the characteristics of colonial and republican architecture. The audio tour ends in Cabrero, in front of the church where Rafael Nuñez, former president of Colombia and author of the national anthem is buried.
