Langjokull is Iceland's second-largest glacier. Most people see it from the road. A handful get to walk through it. This 11-hour tour combines the full Silver Circle route with Into the Glacier — an ice tunnel system drilled directly through Langjokull, accessible from Husafell. Monster trucks take guests to the tunnel entrance (approximately 45 minutes each way). Inside: corridors of blue ice, chambers reaching several metres across, and a small chapel carved entirely from the glacier. The experience lasts about an hour underground. Crampons and helmets provided on-site. No special fitness required. Departs 08:00, returns approximately 19:00-19:30.
