Here is what makes this pairing work: at Deildartunguhver, your guide explains that 180 litres of 97°C water surge from this single spring every second, and that this water feeds the pools at Krauma — five minutes away. Guests move from the raw spectacle of the spring directly into its water. That is not a coincidence. That is the design.Krauma has six geothermally heated pools at various temperatures, a cold plunge, a steam room, and relaxation spaces with views of the surrounding landscape. Ninety minutes is enough to properly enjoy it — warm up, cool down, and settle in before the drive back to Reykjavik.
