Tour info
Why take this tour?
Join your local hosts Ivania and Carlos in their small kitchen for a fun hands-on cooking class. These two are very excited to introduce travelers to the diversity of Chilean food and culture and feel the happiest when people leave their home with a full belly and a smile on their faces! During your class (that will last for about two hours), you will learn to prepare 2-3 authentic homemade Chilean dishes that you will later share with Ivania and Carlos at their dining table. Some of the dishes you may try are goat cheese, chili and olives with homemade sourdough bread, seaweed ceviche and risotto of mote (wheat) with goat cheese and meat. Your meal might end on a sweet note with some caramel semolina.
