Based on our long experience and Northern lights knowledge, and on the analysis of the weather/solar situation, we will drive you away from Rovaniemi to find the best places in order to observe the Northern lights.
Your aurora guide will always be equipped with a professional camera to take pictures of you and of the northern lights, but also to check the evolution of the sky and anticipate the apparition of lights. All pictures are sent to you after the tour (by email)!
During the tour, we will stop to as many places as needed and drive as far as required by the conditions. We will make a fire to warm us up at some point. This will be a great opportunity to learn some survival tips in the arctic such as how to make a fire, learn about the stars, how to orientate yourself in the night, tell you more about legends associated to the Northern lights, about cultural aspects of Lapland, etc. Your guide will also share with you all their knowledge about the scientific phenomena behind the Northern Lights.
Our objectives are to do everything that is possible so that you can observe the Northern Lights. On our website, you can also book a cancellation option if the weather turns bad.
