• Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your tour. The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks. Any such items must be checked into the free luggage storage area which may result in your having to leave the tour early to retrieve them at the entrance.
• It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.
• We are unable to accommodate customers with wheelchairs or walking disabilities.
• We regret that we are unable to accommodate pushchairs or strollers on our tours.
• Entrance into the Vatican requires a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, no low cut or sleeveless tops or shorts for both men and women. Clients that do not adhere to the dress code will not be permitted entry to the Vatican. City Wonders cannot be held responsible for entry denied due to improper dress.
• Please note that in case of unexpected closures of some of the areas inside the Museums, the guide may have to modify the itinerary slightly. For example, if some of the internal connecting areas are closed for safety reasons, Raphael's Rooms may be replaced with Pio Clementino Museum, where Laoocon and Apollo Belvedere statues are.
• Each visitor will be subjected to a body temperature check using suitable thermometric instruments. The control is mandatory. Access will be denied to all those with a body temperature of 37.5° C or more. Within the Museums it will be necessary to maintain an interpersonal distance of over 1 meter and to avoid gatherings. Also, there will be an obligatory use of mask throughout the Vatican Museums. Please make sure to bring your own mask to the meeting point.
