Meeting Point: At the bottom of the steps across the street from the Entrance of the Vatican Museums. The steps are located right next to Caffè Vaticano on the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi. The closest Metro stop is Line A (Ottaviano – Musei Vaticani).

- The Sistine Chapel may be subject to unscheduled closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we will provide guests with an extended tour of the Vatican Museums, or appropriate alternative.
Know before you go
- It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure
- Entrance into the Vatican requires a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, no low cut or sleeveless tops or shorts for both men and women.
- The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks.

Our Beefeater guide was amazing. We so enjoyed listening to his stories.
The Capuchin Crypt museum and the Catacombs themselves were pretty interesting but this tour felt like a waste. The tour guide added almost no value. She walked us to the Capuchin Crypt museum and left us there with an audio tour, then put us on a bus to get to the Catacombs where a different person took us through that experience. The tour guide did nothing more than chit-chat on the bus. In addition, there was a road closure on our return and the driver (despite waiting around for an hour while we were in Catacombs) had no idea until we were on top of it. If the tour was basically just transportation I think they should’ve been checking a nav app or something. I do not think this tour was worth the money.

This tour involves a fair amount of walking, stairs and hills; comfortable shoes are recommended.

While we undertake to tell guests beforehand if there are any planned disruptions, this is not always possible. In these cases, we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
