You’ll learn about everyday life in the ancient city as you take in old monuments, civic buildings, and temples. The highlight is the jaw-dropping Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in the world.
  • Leaving the Ancient Greek Agora, you’ll enter the neighborhood of Plaka, where history and present-day blur as you stroll down the oldest street in the world. You’ll learn how the city has changed under various rulers over more than 2,000 years and how the modern state of Greece was born much more recently than you might think. Other highlights include a view of the Roman Agora and Tower of the wind (the first meteorological station in the world), Lyssikrates Monument, the Arch of Hadrian and the Melina Merkouri Cafe.
  • Your tour ends in Plaka but we leave you with a special gift: a combo pass that you can use within five days to enter 5 of the city’s best attractions, including Hadrian’s Library, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and more.
  • This is a great tour for history buffs who want to immerse themselves in Hellenistic culture. With your local expert guide and all-inclusive, skip the line tickets to all attractions, there’s no more accessible way to travel back more than 2,000 years and visit the birth of the civilization.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: All sites in Athens that we visit during our tours are requiring clients and guides alike to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test within the past 48-hours for entry. If you have any questions regarding your tour, please reach out to us prior and we can help answer any questions you may have.
  • This half-day experience is a great way to pack a lot of history into a small amount of time by immersing yourself in attractions that harken back to the ancient heyday of Athens. You’ll see some of its greatest monuments and explore its most vibrant neighborhood, all in the company of an expert, English-speaking guide.
  • Your day begins with First-entry, skip the line tickets to the Acropolis, the mighty stronghold crowned by the Parthenon. On the way up the hill, you’ll see some of the other sights, including the theaters of Dionysus and Herodes Atticus, then arrive at the Parthenon before the other crowds. After you have spent some quality time with this jaw-dropping building, you’ll visit the other major sights on the hill, including the Monumental Gateway,  Erechtheum, and Temple of Nike Athena all framed by stunning views over the entire city. With a small group and headsets, you'll never struggle to hear your guide and there's always plenty of time for all your questions.
  • Heading down the bluff, you’ll enter the Ancient Greek Agora with skip the line tickets. This was the commercial center of the old city as is filled with ruins dating back some 2,500 years.
