The Gokyo-Ri Trek takes you to trails less traveled by tourists. These trails are the “highways” of the Himalayas where you will encounter yak trains and the Sherpa people moving about the Khumbu region. It’s a land of sacred lakes and alpine farms that cling to the sides of the mountains. You’ll have the opportunity to see the local culture. Have a cup of tea or local wine with the local people. Trek High Mountain passes for the finest views of not only Mt. Everest, but all the massive peaks of the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal. Take the more rewarding Gokyo-Ri trek with a view of Mt. Before you book

Always ask your physician to make sure you can handle trekking in the Himalayas.
Temperatures are warm and pleasant in the city and cold in the mountains.
You can get Nepal’s Visa on arrival in airport or other entry point of Nepal.
Get Travel insurance and make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months

Before you go

Bring warm clothes that can be layered and sunglasses to adjust as temperatures vary.
Trekking boots and lightweight poncho or raincoat is recommended.
Take plenty of batteries and Nepalese currency for your personal use.
Flight might get delayed or trip postponed due to bad weather.
