Join us on a glacial mission and sail in between the icebergs on our Glacier Lagoon Tour including the sailing experience.This spectacular 14-hour tour takes you straight from Iceland's Capital City to Iceland's icy treasure and allows you to explore the ever-changing glacial landscape, colours and forms.The Glacier lagoon, Jökulsárlón leaves no one untouched with its stunning beauty and the exploration by boat, in between the icebergs truly adds to the experience. Part of the glacial wonders, and not to be missed, is the black volcanic and ice speckled - Diamond Beach. The contrasts between the black sand and the sparkling pieces of ice are beyond this world.The scenic landscape along the South Coast screams out for a couple of mandatory stops. We'll enjoy optional dinner and beach time at Vík Village where Reynisdrangar seastacks and petrified trolls run the scene. Seljalandsfoss waterfall welcomes us with its mighty drop. The freshwater that feeds this 60m tall waterfall originates from the famous Eyjafjallajökull glacier-capped volcano and we have a quick adventure behind the falls before we head back to civilisation.Highlights of this tour: - Glacier Lagoon - Jökulsárlón - Boat ride (included) - Diamond Beach - Village of Vík - Seljalandsfoss waterfallThe boat tour on Glacier Lagoon is a 30-40 min excursion that takes you amongst and in between the icebergs. The excursion allows you to fully explore the breathtaking scenery of the Glacier Lagoon and feel the size of the elements. An English-speaking guide gives you an insight into the geology and formation of the site and gives you a taste of the 1000-year-old ice. You might even sail past seals sunbathing on some of the icebergs.Please bring: - Warm, waterproof clothing - Comfortable footwear - Lunch and snacks (we will make stops along the way for you to purchase food)Please note: being located in the southeast some 380 km from the capital, The Glacier Lagoon tour is our longest day tour of 14 hrs, but most certainly worth the drive.
