Why take this tour?

Start your trip from Reykjavik Domestic Airport, which is only 5 minutes from the centre of the city. Once up in the air, be ready for a quick view change from urban Reykjavik to the scenic sights of Icelandic nature. This trip will take you through rough but magical volcanic landscapes that Iceland is known for.

You will fly over countless volcanic craters and every one of them will seem better than the one before. Use the chance to peek into a crater from a helicopter and see it in its whole glory. We can guarantee that the view is exceptional! Continue your journey to the rugged coastline of the Reykjanes peninsula.

The pilot will land the helicopter by a crater in the middle of a lava field. Use the chance and take some breathtaking photos. When that is done, take a good look around and breathe in the fresh air that comes from the ocean. This trip concludes with a return to our base in Reykjavik and getting one last look at the city centre from above.

Our base is on the East side of Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Note that we are not where the local airline Air Iceland Connect is but on the other side behind hotel "Icelandair Reykjavik Natura." The address is Nauthólsvegur 58d. It is a short 5 minutes drive from the City Center.

Ttaxis usually know where we are located. Our GPS coordinates are: Latitude: 64.12941853 Longitude: -21.93335652. In the following link you can find a map of the location: https://goo.gl/maps/41rOp
