Summary

We will launch onto the Indian River lagoon to paddle around the local vicinity to experience the intense glow of the bioluminescent dinoflagellate algae. We will be paddling in 1 of only 5 bioluminescent bays in the world. The only Bio bay in the continental United States. Titusville is home to the brightest bioluminescence in the world. It is also the home of NASA, we may even see a rocket launch while on tour! While on tour we will explain how the bioluminescence works, we'll even let you touch it! We'll also let the guides do what they do best, show you a great time on the water! We will also see the Milky way over head in late June thru early October! Once we begin to wrap up the tour, we will begin our paddle back to the launch site. Once we've all landed back ashore we will trade handshakes and high 5's for the paddles and life jackets back lol.

Why take this tour?

Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon. We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

Our bioluminescent kayak tours last for approximately 90 mins. You will get wet to some extent, so plan to bring some towels and wear appropriate footwear.

These amazing threatened animals will come right up to your kayak and if your lucky enough allow you to give them a quick scratch! Watch Dolphin breech out of the water just feet from your kayak hunting fish!
