Fantastic tour

Fantastic tour, exceeded my expectations. David was a great story teller and shared lots of his own experiences and Irish history. Mick was an amazing bus driver, felt very safe with him behind the wheel. They were both funny and bounced off each other well. The Black Cab ride in Belfast was very confronting, still so much trouble there we weren't aware of. Dunluse Castle was great too but the Giants Causeway blew me away. What an amazing place, loved it. Thanks for the tour, highly recommend doing this, I loved it.

Amazing tour!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this entire day tour. Our tour guide was funny and interactive throughout the tour. He engaged with all guests. Cliff of Moher is a must see for see for everyone visiting Ireland and this is a great tour. We are from USA and originally from India. Their buses are very well maintained and entire tour runs on time. I highly recommend this tour.

A day of seeing, learning and having a craic

Unforgettable. Long but worthwhile. Learnt a lot about the history of Ireland from our guide Anto Martin. Very friendly and engaging.

Relax and learn

Dave and Chrishna were delightful. They were very knowledgeable and charming. The black cab was really interesting and informative. The driver was Liam and he was charming. I learned so much and relaxed on the road. Plenty of opportunities to eat at multiple stops and just the right amount of bathroom breaks.

Best bus tour

I’m just getting around to leaving a review. Sorry Kevin. What an amazing experience. If you’re thinking about gaming the tour please don’t hesitate. The ride was comfortable and they give you a break mid point to stretch your legs and use the restrooms. I was sitting right behind the driver Mick so I got a front seat to what goes on behind the scenes. Kevin made sure we all knew where to go, when to come back and answered everyone’s questions. He even was my camera man a few times. I wanted to do the titanic museum but my daughter booked this tour and we didn’t realize they had a titanic tour. I figured I would taxi over and taxi back as to not miss the bus for departure out of Belfast. Mick told me to sit tight and dropped me off at the museum as he had to take the bus there to park anyhow. Walked me in and showed me where to use the taxi phones to get back. All in all it was a fantastic tour and I know Kevin is constantly doing things behind the scenes from doing checklist to answer text and checking weather. The man doesn’t rest on the bus ride. I will use these guys again when we go back.

Amazing sights and guide!

Kevin was a fantastic guide and Billy got us there and back safe. The black cab tour in Belfast was enlightening and the castle and Giant’s causeway were both incredible!

Great tour

Neil was a great guide who provided a lot of information. Krishna was a great driver who got us everywhere on time. Overall great tour if you want to visit these places and dont have access to a car or want to drive yourself.

Beautiful trip and worth every penny

Fantastic transportation and nice breaks on the way and back. Rory told some funny stories and shared interesting facts along the way while still letting us rest Part of the package was a quick guided tour when we got to Galway but he took off with the group before 10-12 of us could get off the bus so that was frustrating. We missed his knowledge of the place but still enjoyed seeing the town and eating at one restaurant he recommended.

Friendly tour guide

Phenomenal trip, thanks to Matt our tour guide. He was friendly, witty, and charmed us with traditional Celtic legends featuring Finn McCool, mixed with dark history on the Potato Famine. The Cliffs were fantastic, as were the castles and the short lunch we had in Galway. Highly recommend Wild Rover Tours, and highly recommend Matt!

Excellent One Day Tour of N Ireland

Fantastic experience with excellent driver and tour guide. Left on time. Nice comfortable bus. We were provided plenty of time to explore the sites on our own.

We went on the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the Belfast Walking Tour day trip. Our guide was Una. From before getting on the bus, there was very poor management of the buses and she was almost yelling at people, ourselves included, to stand in line. She was unfriendly, unwelcoming and rather rude till the very end of the tour. She was neither kind nor entertaining. She was not aware of when to speak and when to let the bus passengers rest and was not at all informative to boot. When I asked her anything, including for instance where the bathrooms were at the Giant’s Causeway, her replies were always condescending, harsh and quite impolite. She kept rushing us even if we were always on time. In Belfast, we were sat on a bench to enjoy our last moments in the city and despite having 10 minutes left to the bus’s departure, Una waved us over to force us on the bus. She generally created an unpleasant atmosphere of anxiety and haste. In another instance, she reprimanded us for leaving a ‘smelly’ plastic bag of trash on the bus during one of the stops, which is quite simply untrue. The plastic bag contained an empty box of a cold salad and some dry snacks that we had throughout the day and that we were intending to throw out in Dublin. She indicated that the driver went through the bag and that they simply decided to throw it in the trash. Going through another’s personal belongings is obviously completely unacceptable and inappropriate. It’s also important to note that the driver was also quite unfriendly. This was our very last full day in Ireland and we were very much looking forward to seeing the north and learning more about its rich history and we are extremely disappointed with the poor service provided, which obviously negatively impacted our experience. After this experience, we absolutely would NOT recommend Wild Rover. We did another day trip to the Cliffs with FinnMccools and we had the absolute best time with the most amazing and fun guide. Such a shame.

North Ireland highlights.

Excellent tour of the northern sites of Ireland. John was very informative and knowledgeable about Irish history. Excellent driver as well amongst the tight roads. Highly recommend if you want to see giants causeway.
