Be sure to bring water, snacks, a raincoat, and wear good hiking shoes. The views are incredible. It is worth every penny!

Matt and Mick made the trip!

My family and I took Wild Rover’s Dublin to Cliffs of Moher tour, including the Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, and had a fantastic experience. Matt was an awesome tour guide and an excellent storyteller. He mixed humor with a genuine passion for Ireland and its history, which made the long day both entertaining and informative. He also gave us a great brief tour of Galway and offered terrific recommendations for lunch and what to see during our time there. Mick was an excellent driver, especially navigating some of the narrow and winding roads along the way. We felt comfortable and in good hands throughout the trip. Matt and Mick made a great team, and we would highly recommend both of them and Wild Rover Tours.

Excellent day trip from Dublin

Its a long day, but so worth it. The scenic drive to get there was great. And then to experience the magnificence of the Cliffs were spectacular!! I highly recommend this tour

A Very Full Day

This is a full day trip in Ireland, so be prepared for both sun and rain. Our guide, Sean, was knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver, Zoltan, navigated with confidence and kept us on schedule. We were advised to get ETA since we were traveling from the Irish Republic to Northern Ireland, but we never had to present the authorization. Dunluce Castle is the largest ruin we visited during our visit to Ireland. I did not get information on the site until we were leaving, so I didn’t get a good idea of how the buildings fit together. It would be good to get the information ahead of time. The Giant’s causeway is spectacular, but crowded. The formation is down a long hill from the visitors center. There are shuttles if the return climb is daunting. The pub at the top of the hill has very good food and service. In Belfast, we had a quick walking tour of part of the city. Gavin was well acquainted with the area and offered personal insight into the Troubles. We had little free time in Belfast, then journeyed back to Dublin after a very full day. One knock on the tour has to do with the seats on the bus. I’m 6’2” and couldn’t fit my knees behind the seat in front of me. The seating rows are too close together for taller passengers.

Great day at the Cliffs of Moher and Galway

Guide, Dave was excellent. Our driver, Joe navigated the narrow roads with ease. The Cliffs were spectacular. Galway is a beautiful town with plenty to see.

Giants Causeway & Belfast City Day Tour from Dublin (with Dunluce castle)

Breathtaking scenery at Giant's Causeway (even in the rain) and the Titanic Museum was an emotional experience. Guide Dave was a bit militant and asking for tips felt a bit awkward, but he provided great commentary interspersed with relevant music.

Perfect trip

For those who don’t want to drive across to west coast, this is a great and reasonably priced alternative. Well paced trip; terrific tour guide Kevin

Breathtaking views!

Breathtaking scenery at Giant's Causeway (even in the rain) and the Titanic Museum was an emotional experience. Guide Dave was a bit militant and asking for tips felt a bit awkward, but he provided great commentary interspersed with relevant music along the journey. Our driver. Zaltan, is one of the most professional and polite tour service employees I've encountered. He even had a lovely basket of sweets for passengers to enjoy throughout the day.

Something For Everyone!

Great tour! Guide David shared history, folklore, music, songs, his ukulele, and humor while driver Krishna deftly drove a huge and comfortable bus so everyone onboard could safely enjoy the view. The trip overall was the perfect length of time. David led 20 min walking tours at the first two stops and gave us time to explore. The working dog show with “Spot” herding and sorting sheep was fascinating! It’s fun to see the smart, well trained dog eager to do his job and wait for the next whistle or softly spoken command. Getting to hold the baby lamb was the icing on the cake. We’d do it again in a heartbeat. Well done gentlemen! Highly recommend.

A very good tour and well worth the price. Rio our guide was a little bit green but okay and Mick the driver was a riot. We had a great time.

Learn a lot of history...

Learned a lot of history about Ireland. Julia was very knowledgeable and friendly. The sheep farm was so much fun and the walk in Glendalough was beautifull.

Fabulous scenery, ruined castle, and city life

After an almost 3 hour bus ride to Dunluce castle, we were treated to amazing sea views and a peek into life hundreds of years ago. A short 10 minute bus ride to The Devil's Causeway was a good opportunity to take in even more fantastic views and to stretch our legs with a short walk. The day was capped off with a guided walking tour of Belfast, along with some historic information. The day was long, but well worth the drive.

Sheepdog trials

We chose to separated from the group in Kilkenny and went to visit a castle & had a little time to grab a bite to eat. The countryside is beautiful and the sheepdog trials was what my daughter and I really went for. This was a good price.

Such a great experience....

Such a great experience. Matt & Billy did an awesome job-you see so much, and the entire trip is really well-coordinated with great stories, recommendations, and great insights into each stop. Fast-paced, but totally worth it.

Terrible

I wasn’t happy with this tour or tour guide Paul & Michael.. Horrible and boring guide First we couldn’t choose where to sit when there were plenty of empty seats on the bus up front. He sat us way in the back and yelled when we asked to move to an empty seat. Second, he didn’t stop on a scheduled view point. The Wicklow Gap. We were suppose to stop for a quick ten minute picture based on the description. Of course weather Permitting you would expect not to stop if it’s raining, snowing, or too dangerous to stop. But the weather was beautiful. No rain no wind no nothing. He told me he made the decision not to stop because it was foggy and he didn’t think it was that important. How is it not important if it’s in the description as a highlight! Worse of all the driver drove through it without even being able to take a good picture. Even with the fog the picture would have looked beautiful with the mountains and clouds in the back. I was so disappointed as pictures of The Wicklow Gap in a moving bus obviously didn’t look good Usually tours try to accommodate and if they don’t stop in one place for a reason they stop on a different viewpoint or make up time on another highlight of the tour. But not here in fact for the next stop we got 2 hours instead of 2 hours and 15 minutes for the Wicklow Mountains. Which can sometimes make a difference for the bathroom when the bus doesn’t have one.
