Beat the heat! Cycling tour is the way to see the various monuments of Mall since it encompasses such a vast area. Greg was a fantastic tour guide. He obviously is a historian. He couldn’t have been more accommodating to all in our group.

Wonderful bike tour. I was worried because of my age (72) and the lack of recent bike riding but Toby was excellent in making sure we were safe and comfortable. He had a passion for history and he explain everything in a funny and knowledgeable way.

Fat Tire does amazing tours. Vlad, our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate in sharing pieces of history. There was a good sprinkling of Trivia and humor making the tour fun.

(Translated by Google) A relaxed and interesting bike tour through Berlin, which we (4 women) particularly enjoyed thanks to Maggi's personal touch and his wealth of information – peppered with anecdotes. We'd do it again anytime! A great start to our weekend. No fear of cycling... we cruised easily and comfortably through the streets.

Our booking experience was fine. The paperwork advised us to get to the Alexandria VA location between 8:30-9:30 as we were taking the boat back at 1:30 from Mt. Vernon. We arrived at 8:30 to find the shop closed, We called the number provided and were told that they didn’t open until 9. When we finally got our bikes the saddle height was not adjusted. Mine had to be raised significantly but kept slipping down during the ride. The worst part was that in low gear while climbing the chain kept slipping, and finally came off. We repositioned it and made it to our destination. The ride from Alexandria to Mt. Vernon is along the Potomac, through some woods, and is lovely. It is somewhat hilly and you do need a bike in good condition.
