Krisztina is a great tour guide. She brought laughter and lots of historical background to the walk. She had great recommendations on food to try and even mentioned how the locals eat their food. She taught us a few words in Hungarian and the proper pronunciation of Budapest. I would recommend Krisztina!

This review is for three tours with the same operator. I joined the Budapest city landmark walking tour and Judith was absolutely delightful, which is extremely important when spending two hours with someone in a new city. Balázs of the Buda Castle tour was excellent and knowledgeable and I regret losing the group to express my thank you. I hoped to catch him the next day for the same tour, to no avail. For the rebooked castle tour, I saw that I might not agree with the guide and broke from the tour. The communist tour by Gabor was special, because he lived it and shared personal stories about ice cream, bananas, and May Day. Balázs was a very nice earnest young man in training. If I were to hire a private guide, I would hope for either Judith or Balázs with his dog Maya, but any of the four mentioned above I would highly recommend.

Eszter was an excellent guide: extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and informative. She structured the tour very well, giving us a great understanding of Budapest’s history and culture while keeping everything engaging and easy to follow. We enjoyed our Pest tour with her in the morning so much that we immediately signed up for her Buda Castle tour that same afternoon! Both tours were excellent, and we learned a lot (including, of course, why Pest is the “cool” side of Budapest). Two excellent tours in one day. We would absolutely recommend Eszter!
