We had 2 tours - Jewish quarters and Buda Castle. Both were wonderful - very knowledgeable and professional guides with sense of humor and desire to bring history alive for us.

Good walking tour of the Jewish quarter in Hungary. Andre was very knowledgeable and provided extensive information. Worth doing. My only suggestion would be that he walked slightly slower and used his flag through the crowds so our group could keep track of him. It might also be good if he spoke up a little bit because the group was larger and sometimes it was hard to hear.

Our free walking tour of Buda Castle was excellent. Our guide, Boulash (sorry to mangle his name) was very knowledgeable and personable. He provided an interesting overview of Hungarian history. Involving our group by asking and answering relevant questions. The climb involved in reaching the castle should not be underestimated. That being said, the pace was relaxed with stops for conveying background material. I am pleased to be more informed today than I was previous to the tour. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide.
