Kyoto Heritage Tour Review We took the Kyoto Heritage Tour yesterday with Mariana as our guide, and it was an excellent experience. She was punctual, matched our pace throughout the tour, and readily answered all of our questions. Mariana expertly guided us through Kyoto’s narrow streets, sharing the rich history of each location. Her knowledge of Kyoto’s side streets and hidden gems was impressive. Some highlights included a stop for refreshing cold green tea and delicious traditional sweets—so good that we bought more to take with us—as well as a visit to a quiet, uncrowded bamboo grove. Mariana was friendly, accommodating, and even took extra time to provide information about a topic I was personally interested in. She finished the tour with excellent restaurant recommendations, which led us to a wonderful riverside dining experience with beautiful views and a cool evening breeze. I highly recommend Mariana to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, personable, and attentive guide in Kyoto.

Great tour from Yusuke who took time to show us hidden gems of Osaka and was keen to tailor our experience to any food, cultural or landmark we were particularly interested in. Did not rush us and was willing to give us as much time to enjoy the tour as we wanted.

Yusuke was a great guide was only in Osaka for a couple days and this tour was a great stress free way to see a bunch of what Osaka has to offer have Yusuke just made it even better felt less of a tour guide amd more like a local friend

I went on the Omakase tour and it was so cool to see a side of Tokyo that wasn’t crowded and catered to my interests! I told them I wanted to thrift and go to a cute cafe - and I got that exactly. I also found nice clothes at their favourite secondhand shop!! Would highly recommend booking a tour with TOMOGO!

I had an incredibly amazing day with Shumpei. It felt just like hanging out with a friend—he was so approachable, engaging, and exceptionally friendly! Shumpei took a lot of time for me, showing me the quieter local spots of Tokyo while providing many cultural and historical insights. He also gave me a fantastic introduction to what Japanese cuisine has to offer. So if you’re looking for an authentic and personal experience, Shumpei is the one to go with. My spouse and I recently went on a private tour with Shumpei and had the BEST time! He took us to an area of Tokyo that my husband and I would have never thought to go on our own. He took us to a delicious authentic local lunch, shrines, temples, and the most gorgeous public garden. He even took pictures for us :) The best part is that you can immediately tell how passionate Shumpei is about his job and the service he provides to people taking his tour. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone and now feel like I have a friend of my very own in Tokyo. Thank you Shumpei! :)

It was my second time to use Tomogo and my expectations were exceeded. It’s quite a difficult task to shown hidden gems in such a well known place as Shibuya, but a personalized tour by super guide Fuma made it possible! Even if you need a guide just for a few hours to get more ideas for the rest of your trip or you want honest recommendations, Tomogo is a very good option for group or solo travelers!

Everything was exactly as listed. Definitely a highlight of my trip. I left from Fussa, so easy to get there on the JR Line or also from Tokyo. The building was beautiful old Edo Style building with a steep stairway to the upper floor that overlooks the bustling street activity below. Also, the chef is very familiar on where to get all the different types of fish at the Tokyo fish market. The class was very interesting and more than just making sushi, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the actual instruction was all hands on so I’m sure to remember it forever. A day well spent, and I would do it again next time I’m in Kawagoe just to eat the sushi!

La visite ( visite à pieds d’Osaka) a été payée mais n’a jamais eu lieu. Mon mari s’est trompé de date. Il avait réservé pour le 5 novembre au lieu du 6 novembre. Nous avons écrit ( adresse mail, numéro de téléphone) en vain pour la changer et nous n’avons eu aucune réponse. À éviter absolument car ces personnes ne sont ni fiables ni honnêtes. Wahid Kamel

I really enjoyed the tour to Kagurazaka! It had both a traditional touch as well as a modern feel; filled with unique shops and alleyways with hidden shops and cafes you wouldn’t normally find! My tour guide Amy was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and had great recommendations for food/drinks! Highly recommend!!
