Xuan was a perfect tour guide. We had a lot of fun exploring hidden corners of Ho Chi Minh City and trying a huge variety of different food traditions, exotic fruits, sweets and drinks. Highly recommended!!

We had such a great time on Spring and Hieu’s vegan food tour! They took us to local spots we never would’ve found on our own. It was genuinely the best vegan food we’ve had on our trip so far, and it really felt like hanging out with friends who just happen to know all the best hidden gems and unique stories about the place. Our non-vegan cousin and her partner tagged along and they loved it too. Whether you're vegan or not, this is such a wonderful way to experience Saigon.

Best vegan tour experience EVER!

WOW! This was the first food tour we have ever gone on and it has set the bar high. It just just me and my partner, as it was the quiet season, but Hieu put as much energy and enthusiasm into our tour as if we were a bigger group. We really appreciated his storytelling and wonderful food choices. He even brought along an iPad to help explain some extra things about Vietnam. We’re so glad we did this at the start of our trip, as we now have a much better idea of the city.

Spring is so so sweet and genuinely interested while chatting with you. She made this tour so wonderful! My husband isn’t really vegan and loves meat but he loved almost every dish we ate! I adored walking through the alleyways and she made sure to take us to places that felt local and so authentic. I wish she could take us around every day we are here!

Great Vegan Food Tour

My son and I went on the vegan food tour with both Spring and Hieu. We absolutely loved the different vegan food we tried and would not have had the opportunity to had it not been for these great guides. Both Spring and Hieu were great to talk to...they gave us lots of information about Vietnamese culture and history. I was really excited about getting to know local people and this was a great opportunity to do so. It was definitely one of my highlights of visiting the city! If I ever were to come back... I'd do the tour again. :)

Amazing food tour!

LOVED this vegan food tour! Hieu and Spring were an absolute joy to be around, they both were so knowledgeable about Saigon, local food vendors, shops, and were so engaging throughout the tour! They were funny, personable, and kept my partner and I fully entertained the entire tour! It was fun to go through 3 different districts in HCMC and learn about the areas, neighborhoods, and history of the city itself along with enjoying some insanely delicious dishes along the way! It was the perfect amount of food, I was full by the end of it! Would highly recommend!!

Amazing food, great stories both about food and history. Spring was generous with time and knowledge and I walked away with some great memories. I have been to Vietnam twice and this is some of the best food I’ve had. Spring is also really helpful for first time vegans in Vietnam, full of good advice. Will definitely do again if I’m in Saigon!

best food tour in HCM!

This vegan food tour was wonderful. Hieu was an amazing guide and shared lots of interesting stories with us. The food was also incredible - be sure to come super hungry as there are many dishes to try! Would recommend to anyone - vegan or not vegan - to try some delicious dishes and see some spots in HCM city you may not see otherwise.

Entertaining hosts - Great food

great variety of vegan food and deserts. Friendly, knowledgeable guides who speak English well. Saw lots of different parts of the city as we moved between locations. Good mix or restaurants and street food.

OUTSTANDING tour - highly recommend!

This is one of THE BEST tours I have ever gone on, and I've traveled the world so that's saying something. I thought it was just going to be a food walk but it was so so so so so much more! Spring is AMAZING! Her English is excellent and she's incredibly personable and fun to hang out with walking the streets and alleyways of Saigon finding the best food. She's scoped it all out, has the perfect walking route that hits the best vegan places, and incorporates history and culture all along the way. We learned so much and saw so much is one evening! Sadly it was our last night here but we wish we had done this our first night to get the lay of the land. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Fantastic tour !

Superb experience - Spring is a wonderful tour guide and the food was delicious!

Exceptional walking food tour. Spring (the host) went out of her way to ensure we learnt about the local food culture and enjoyed LOADS of delicious food. We walked around three different districts, each with a distinct feel. The experiences and information felt carefully curated to be authentic without being overloaded and the food vendors had clearly been selected through detailed research and knowledge. Spring was a delightful host who answered our (many!) questions and made us feel instantly at ease. I couldn’t recommend this tour more. (The guidebook they’ve written is the icing on the cake - what a bonus, fantastic resource.)

Spring and Hieu make a great duo , often balancing the narrations and checking in on the clients. They consistently seek to personalise the trip based on the audience in the journey. Additionally, both of them are extremely insightful providing glimpses into the daily life of Ho Chi Minh City. The food in itself is tasty and definitely different from the popular experiences. Would recommend the same to everyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Great experience!

We only had one day in Saigon and we decided to book this trip based on the reviews. I'm so glad we did it! Hieu was 10/5 ⭐️ We learned a lot, ate delicious food, and most importantly felt so great the whole time. It was exciting and relaxing at the same time! Hieu makes you feel like you are just hanging out with a friend that is showing you all his favorite spots, away from the typical touristic places. We've done other tours in Vietnam and this was by far our favorite. Tremendous value for money too. Thank you Spring and Hieu. You make a great team!

Best Walking Tour in Saigon 💯

If there is one food tour you go on in Ho Chi Minh City, DO THIS ONE. Spring and Hieu are incredible tour guides as well as friendly, loving souls. It is so evident that they have a passion for food and for showing tourists around the city. You are able to see and feel the city while you walk through District 1, 3 and 10. It's a nice intimate group so you can ask questions along the way easily. If you're not vegan, this is a great experience regardless. There won't be any meat, but there will be incredible dishes that will keep you sustained for the duration of your walk.
