Very local vibe
The tour was exceptional in that it was led by our great guide, Leena, who took us to very unique locations not visited by other tourists. The tour was all by foot and easy to keep up with the group. Leena’s vibe was great and was able to bring the group together. Highly recommended! 😊❤️

Seeing the real Saigon
Spring was a great tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She also has a lovely dry sense of humour. We got to to places that we'd never have gone by ourselves so it was worth it just for that. The breakfast at Grandma's noodles was superb and it was fun to try all the different fruits. I also really liked the walk up through an apartment block. Overall a great way to spend a few hours and to start to get under the skin of Vietnam more, and Saigon in particular.

Leena was our guide today. She was very friendly with a sense of peace and calm. She led us along the streets of HCM and we got to learn more about the history, various foods, and the market. Through the alley ways we got a sense of what life is like for the residents. We were clearly the only foreigners around which was pretty cool to be immersed in the culture. Leena was great about including our 8 year old son. The pace was perfect. This is a great way to spend a first or second day in the city. I highly recommend this tour and Leena!

My Lovely Vegan Vietnam Tour
Spring was a lovely tour guide to my friend and I. Truly. We were very comfortable talking with her and sharing laughs. All of the food places she took us to were very yummy :) She explained about the restaurants, about Vietnam itself, and little fun facts I would not have known. A lot of preparation went into making this a lovely, thorough, and guided experience. I even left my hat at the first restaurant and Spring and Hieu picked it up after the tour and returned it to me. Overall, delicious experience. Definitely recommend! :)

Amazing and authentic!
Amazing and authentic! This tour will excite all of your senses, as you wander through local neighborhoods and join them for the daily morning routine. The guides were super knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations and transportation after. Highly recommend adding this to your HCMC itinerary!

Hieu è una guida molto brava e gentile e parla un inglese fluente e comprensibile (un dettaglio per nulla scontato quando si viaggia in Asia). Saigon non è una città che mi abbia lasciato qualcosa di speciale e l'unica esperienza che porterò sempre nel cuore è stata la mia visita guidata con Hieu… genuina, autentica e indimenticabile! Wow! So impressed by this food tour with Spring. She was very friendly and truly showed us some of the best vegan food in the area. It was really neat to be able to walk down the local alleys with her and learn more about city life from someone who lives here. The food was delicious with a lot of variety. We wouldn't have been able to find these places on our own. Thank you so much!

Hidden gems food tour
Had the best time on the tour with Spring & Hieu they were super fun to be with and talk to for the evening! They took us to areas of Ho Chi Minh City we would never have gone to ourselves and showed us food from vendors which we probably would’ve never tried otherwise and it all tasted so good! Really appreciated how they adapted the tour to take our mixed group of vegan/vegetarians/meat eaters into account to make everyone happy! For our group of 8 it cost 900k vnd each which was great value for money. Spring was super responsive through WhatsApp, very easy to organise. Everyone in our group agreed it was their favourite tour in their time in Vietnam, and personally after travelling for 11 months I would say it’s my favourite of the whole trip, can’t recommend it enough!

The food was very good and tasty. I loved that we went to food stalls on the streets and a few off the paths restaurants. The tour guide Leena was very sweet and informative about the food we were eating. It was a bit heavy on the rice noodles and would of preferred a bit more balanced with more veggies though.

Amazing Tour!
Before this tour I always found markets a little overwhelming. So many smells, sounds, and people moving in every direction that I didn’t really know where to look. Walking through the market with Spring changed that completely. Instead of chaos she showed us the rhythm behind everything. Why certain vendors sell only one thing, how locals know where to go for the best herbs, and how fruit sellers judge ripeness without cutting anything open. One moment that stuck with me was watching a woman carefully prepare fruit while chatting with him like they had known each other for years. It made the whole place feel less like a tourist attraction and more like a living community. The fruit tasting was also a highlight because we tried things I had never even heard of before. I left the market feeling like I understood a small part of daily life here instead of just passing through.

Outstanding Guide in Saigon – Highly Recommend Hiéu
We had the absolute pleasure of exploring Saigon with Hiéu, who guided us on both a city tour and an incredible ‘off the beaten track’ food tour. From the moment we met him, he was warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing his city with us. Hiéu is very knowledgeable and intelligent, offering fascinating insights into Saigon’s history, culture, and daily life. What really made the experience special, though, was how natural and authentic everything felt. He has a wonderful sense of humour and a very easygoing way of connecting with people, which made the whole day feel relaxed and personal rather than like a typical tour. The food tour in particular was a highlight — we tasted amazing and some challenging local dishes (like big snails!🤣) we would never have discovered on our own, and Hiéu explained the stories and traditions behind them in such an engaging way. If you're visiting Saigon and want an experience that feels genuine, insightful, and fun, I cannot recommend Hiéu highly enough. He truly made our time in the city unforgettable.

Worth waking up early 🙂
I’m not a morning person at all so the early start hurt a bit haha but it was totally worth it. The noodles at the beginning were amazing and seeing the market wake up in the morning was really cool. Plus I got to learn a lot about the history and stories of different neighborhoods.

A Morning That Made Saigon Feel Less Overwhelming
When I first arrived in Ho Chi Minh City I honestly felt a bit overwhelmed. The traffic, the noise, the energy everywhere… it’s exciting but also a lot to take in. This tour ended up being the perfect way to slow down and understand the city a little better. We started at a tiny noodle place that I absolutely would have walked past on my own. Sitting on those tiny stools eating a hot bowl of noodles while locals came in for breakfast felt like stepping into daily life here. Then we walked through the market and at first it felt chaotic but after a few minutes with Hieu explaining things it suddenly started to make sense. He pointed out how locals pick herbs, how vendors recognize their regular customers, and even how people judge fruit just by smell. The fruit tasting later was honestly hilarious because we had no idea how to open half of them properly and ended up with sticky hands everywhere. What I appreciated most was the pace. Nothing felt rushed and sometimes we simply paused to watch what was happening around us. By the end of the morning the city felt much more welcoming and understandable.
